Gloomy Cave

Gloomy Cave is located just southwest of Lake Fjalding, north of Brodir Grove.

Inside Gloomy Cave

During the quest, it is inhabited by three witches; otherwise, it holds nothing important. The Ettiene of Glenmoril Wyrd will transport you here from the Altar of Thrond if you accept her offer. If you kill her sisters, you can locate an icicle in the ceiling that a note carried by the witches refers to. Jump or levitate to reach the icicle, and activate it to receive the Scroll of the Wolf Ender.

Notes

• All of the sisters have the note on their body.
• The Improved Emperor's Guide to Tamriel/Bangkorai makes mention of a Gloomy Cave in Ilessan Hills where the Glenmoril Wyrd holds court and dances for Hircine.
