Ancient Nordic Pick Axe[edit]

The links for the Ancient Nordic Pick Axe link to the Artifacts page, but there isn't an entry on that page for the item. Should there be? Is it really an 'artifact'? --Gaebrial 06:12, 15 January 2008 (EST)

Ooops. I just noticed a "blue" link and a "red" link on this page for the ANPA, so I assumed the blue link was correct. Apparently, both links are wrong then? --Brf 09:18, 22 May 2008 (EDT)

The blue link is definitely wrong, as it's pointing to a non-existent section on the Artifacts page. It's probably better to have the links pointing to Bloodmoon:Ancient Nordic Pick Axe, as it helps to highlight that it needs to be looked at. Also, if somebody were to create a section on a page for the pick, the specific article should be set up as a redirect. --Gaebrial 09:58, 22 May 2008 (EDT)
I'd love to fix this, I am however unsure where to put the Ancient Nordic Pick Axe. Does it function as a weapon as well? Is the appearance that of a Morrowind:Miner's Pick? It's been a while since I played BM... --BenouldTC 16:18, 22 May 2008 (EDT)
Yes. It can be equipped as a weapon, but it has its own unique look, completely different from a Miner's Pick.--Brf 10:41, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

When Graring Attacks[edit]

(moved from the article)

In some cases when you arrive at Graring he will attack you on sight.

Sometimes when arriving at Graring with stalrim sample, he doesn't take it.

I've moved this because it's really not very helpful at the moment. First, which set of quests are you on - Falco's or Carnius'? Second, had you ever encountered Graring before? Just saying "sometimes" doesn't help anybody. –RpehTCE 05:26, 28 July 2008 (EDT)

Every time I go to Graring he and his friends always attack me.(Because I simply ran past them as a werewolf). I tried using calm humanoid on them, (100pts, 5m, 5secs) and all they do namely Graring is just continuously sheath and unsheath their weapons not allowing me to speak to them, can someone help please?86.174.83.120 21:21, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Dead graring[edit]

A while back I killed graring, and his body is gone. I am unable to complete the quest. Is there a console command around this?

Also, is there a command to spawn him back, so I can still get the Armor and Weapons? 71.3.69.212 20:42, 19 April 2009 (EDT)

I haven't tried it myself but graring->resurrect might work. –RpehTCE 01:01, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
I seem to have this problem, as well as the previous one. I first ran across him while in werewolf form, then anytime I return to him as a human, him and his people will attack on sight. I looked on his page and saw that he was only needed to harvest Stalhrim for medium armor, which I didn't need, so I just went ahead and killed him. Now I got to this point in the quest (siding with Falco), and apparently he was needed alive. I tried the resurrect command on him and it does bring him back, but he goes and attacks on sight again. Even if I use the StopCombat command, he'll stop and then restart combat with no chance of entering conversation. Falco also still believes he's dead. 71.227.145.126 07:36, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
That's not stated on his page at all - there's a perfectly clear link to this page under "related quests". This is yet another reason why you shouldn't go around indiscriminately slaughtering NPCs. Try using a Calm spell to stop him attacking, but there's probably no way to stop Falco thinking he's dead. –RpehTCE 08:00, 21 May 2009 (EDT)

Graring Dead bug[edit]

(moved from the article)

If you kill Seler Favelnim in the previous quest, when you ask Falco for your next assignment, he may think that Graring is dead even though he is still alive. This makes it impossible to continue the East Empire Company questline without the use of the console.

Seler Favelnim has nothing to do with Graring. The dialogue conditions for this quest check only that Graring is alive so there must have been some other cause for this problem. rpeh •TCE 09:42, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
I thought as much, which is why I added the tag. But I hadn't confirmed so I left it be. Thanks for the double check. Justeazy 20:09, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Page Formatting[edit]

The formatting for the detailed description is very strange compared to other quests. Is there a reason this page uses valign=top, width=50% where others do not? 73.53.89.19 07:15, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
