The Redoran guard found in raven rock and patrol the city, the captain Veleth controls the Redoran guard. --2.225.30.166 16:57, 11 December 2012 (GMT)

I've updated the article with this and other information. Thanks for the help. :) — ABCface 00:50, 16 December 2012 (GMT)

Respawn Time[edit]

Anyone know how long it takes them to respawn? I sorta killed everybody, and its been a long time. Thanks Faldil (talk) 00:44, 27 February 2013 (GMT)

But they cannot be killed, almost every Redoran guard is essential. --80.108.153.176 12:42, 25 April 2015 (GMT)
Not true, Redoran Guards are generic NPCs like regular Hold Guards on the mainland. To answer the original question, don't take this as fact, but it looks like they might respawn after 10 days as every other location in Raven Rock respawns after 10 days. What the OP should do is leave Raven Rock, wait 10-11 days, and come back to see they respawn. Someone could test this for a sure answer though. •WoahBro►talk 17:59, 25 April 2015 (GMT)
I couldn't kill them (only once there was an exception). Maybe they are only till a specific quest essential. --80.108.153.176 18:08, 25 April 2015 (GMT)
Hm, you're right. I looked over part of the template that states they're Protected, which you can read about at that page. However, I have no clue when they become unprotected. •WoahBro►talk 18:16, 25 April 2015 (GMT)
Maybe until one has done the quest with Commander Carius or the quest about the conspiracy against the Arano Family or both. --80.108.153.176 19:22, 25 April 2015 (GMT)

Morag Tong[edit]

Why does it say presumably the player tells Adril that hey were killed by the morag tong. — Unsigned comment by 82.73.72.148 (talk) at 10:52 on 19 April 2013‎

Equipment[edit]

Does anyone happen to know what equipment they are usually wearing or what items they usually carry?--Draagyn (talk) 00:23, 21 February 2014 (GMT)

They wear a full set of Bonemold Armor with a Bonemold Shield and carry an Elven Sword, an Elven Bow with 12 Elven Arrows, a set of clothes, and potentially a small amount of gold. However, one guard at the earth stone has no shield and no helmet, and the guards in the jail carry the jail key. --AN|L (talk) 00:40, 21 February 2014 (GMT)

"...is one of the beast races."[edit]

What are "beast races" in Tamriel? In Akavir there are four beast races as opposite to the Akavíri Race, but what are "beast races" in Tamriel? Or does it mean, if one isn't a Dunmer? I am an Imperial and the guards were never very friendly to me. --80.108.153.176 12:45, 25 April 2015 (GMT)

The beast races are the races that are neither man or mer, in other words Khajiit and Argnonians. Dunmer in Morrowind always tend to be unfriendly to anyone who isn't Dunmer and from Morrowind (as seen in the game Morrowind, if you haven't played it, I highly recommend it--fantastic game) so it's not a surprise that your Imperial was insulted. However, I'm kinda questioning how ambiguous this note is because I don't really know if they are just unfriendly to all, or especially nasty to the beast races. •WoahBro►talk 17:59, 25 April 2015 (GMT)
As can be easily seen in the Guard Dialogue, there are 3 unique lines specifically for beast races, one line for dunmer (saying they should pray at the temple) and one neutral line towards Nords. It would be my guess that they just don't like you personally (either due to faction allegiances or some other factor) that has nothing to do with your race. There are no unique, mean lines for any races other than Khajiit and Argonian. Jeancey (talk) 18:04, 25 April 2015 (GMT)
I am an Imperial. Alright, thank you for answering. --80.108.153.176 18:08, 25 April 2015 (GMT)

() That is incorrect.

Because I'm playing as a Dunmer and the redoran guard's still use the unfriendly dialogue to me such as Move Along Outlander and We got our eyes on you.

So it don't matter what race you are on the game you will still get the unfriendly treatment So far I've played as an Orc , Redguard , Imperial so currently I'm playing as a Dunmer so their are no dialogue differences from those Redoran Guard's at all when you're playing as these races. — Unsigned comment by PrinceRetro (talkcontribs) at 18:20 on 20 May 2018‎

Please read things more carefully before making comments. Nowhere does it say that the Redoran Guard are not rude to everyone. The comments above are 100% true. There are only unique rude comments towards Khajiit and Argonians, there are no unique rude comments written for anyone else. The two comments you have highlighted can be heard by anyone, the difference is that Argonians can hear two versions of "We've got our eyes on you." You can see all the comments on the Guard Dialogue page linked in the article, as well as any necessary requirements. As woahbro put it, guards are usually only friendly to Dunmer from Morrowind, and it is impossible to play as a Dunmer from Morrowind, so they will be rude to you.
