Ancient Carzog's Demise: Way before the Balfiera Elves sealed this Ayleid ruin during the Direnni Hegemony, the Orcs used this place for a very different purpose—as you will see in these ancient memories ….
Carzog's Demise: The Ayleid Sanctuary on Betnikh was sealed by the Balfiera Elves during the Direnni Hegemony, and its tunnels were never explored or catalogued by the Bretons who came after. They might contain … anything. |
Carzog's Demise is an Ayleid ruin in the northeast of Betnikh.
You will first enter the ruins in a vision of the past, when the spirit of King Renwic opens a portal at Grimfield. In the vision, Carzog's Demise is filled with Orcish invaders and captured Breton nobility.
You will need to gain access to the ruins again during the conclusion of the Betnikh quest chain. The ruins are filled with Bloodthorn Cultists.

Eastern Sanctuary[edit]
A Bloodthorn Satchel just inside the ruin's entrance contains a Bloodthorn Disguise. Bloodthorn Necromancers and Sentries guard the first room, and Bloodthorn Incendiaries patrol the halls onward. Barjot's Journal is located on a bench in the northwestern chamber.
Western Sanctuary[edit]
Fire traps serve as obstacles in the Western Sanctuary. Tumma-Shah is located in the southern hallway. Bloodthorn Incendiaries patrol the southeastern hallway, past all the fire traps.
