Hunting King Razor-Tusk
Huntmaster Sorim-Nakar of the Erabenimsun Ashlander tribe has given me a challenge. He wants me to hunt the powerful kagouti called King Razor-Tusk.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to Huntmaster Sorim-Nakar in Ald'ruhn.
  2. Travel to Falensarano Ruins.
  3. Kill kagouti.
  4. When King Razor-Tusk appears, kill it.
  5. Return to the Huntmaster for your reward.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Huntmaster Sorim-Nakar at Ald'ruhn may offer you this daily quest once you have completed Ashlander Relations. He will ask you to hunt down a powerful Kagouti— more specifically, a Bull Kagouti pack leader. This Kagouti has been named King Razor-Tusk and can be found in the Ashlands east of the Falensarano Ruins. The huntmaster advises you to defeat Kagouti to attract the attention of their pack leader. Once you reach the area marked on your map, you will find a small pack of Kagouti near the center. After you've killed them, King Razor-Tusk will appear nearby. It can be distinguished from a generic Kagouti bull by its size and larger health pool.

Kill it and return to the huntmaster for your daily reward coffer.

Notes[edit]

  • Going out of combat while fighting King Razor-Tusk will have it disappear, requiring you to kill more kagouti.
    • If the central pack hasn't respawned, pulling the outskirt kagouti into the area and killing them may have Razor-Tusk appear again.
  • While you are fighting King Razor-Tusk, the central pack will not respawn until its pack leader has either despawned or died.
    • If you are low on health near the end of the fight, it is advised to pull Razor-Tusk from the center before making the final blow; this will allow you a cleaner getaway if the pack immediately respawns upon its death.

Quest Stages[edit]

King Razor-Tusk Hunt
Finishes Quest Journal Entry
King Razor-Tusk and its pack have been spotted to the east, on the other side of Red Mountain. The Huntmaster suggests I slaughter a few lesser kagouti to draw out the pack leader.
Objective: Hunt Down King Razor-Tusk
Objective Hint: Kill Kagouti to Lure King Razor-Tusk
Finishes quest☑ I successfully hunted the kagouti pack leader known to the Erabenimsun as King Razor-Tusk. Now I should return to the Huntmaster and present him with the trophy.
Objective: Return to Huntmaster Sorim-Nakar
Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
