Cull enemy troops
Grigerda challenged me to learn more about the enemy so I can appreciate the dangers the folk of Bruma face.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Speak to Grigerda.
  2. Kill one of each type of Dremora in Bruma.
  3. Return to Grigerda.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Talk to Grigerda to find out what she wants you to do.

"Curse this leg. I hate sitting here while Bruma burns!"
Why is everyone hiding in here?
"Spoken like someone who's never seen a friend torn limb from limb! Go out there and see what we face every day, I dare you."
I'll take that dare.
"So be it. I challenge you to explore Bruma and experience the ferocity of the invaders. Return to me when you know more about our foes."
I'll be back.

There are four kinds of Dremora in Bruma: Churls, Caitiffs, Kyngalds, and the dread Narkynaz. These Dremora can be found all over Bruma. Kill one of each, then return to Grigerda for a reward.

"Have you met our enemies?"
I faced and killed several Dremora.
"So now you know. Our foes are deadly and numerous. It is wisdom, not cowardice, that keeps us inside the shelters left to us."

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
