Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Speak to Matys Derone inside Norvulk Ruins.
  2. Find Matys' wife and deliver her the news.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

While delving through Norvulk Ruins, you'll come across a dying man named Matys Derone. He wants you to tell his wife of his fate, but dies before he can tell you where she lives. You need to find his wife and bring her the news of her husband's demise.

Matys's wife is Augustine Derone. She can be found at the Temple of the Divines in Wayrest, which is the nearest major town, so return there and talk to her.

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
