Nornalhorst is an Ayleid ruin in the West Weald of Cyrodiil, located east of Skingrad. Its lower area of Nornalhorst Sel Gandrevla can be roughly translated as "Hall of Gifted Time".

Circa 2E 582, the Gray Vipers bandit gang had taken residence in the ruins. They preyed upon refugees who came to nearby Vlastarus fleeing from the Alliance War, stealing their possessions and killing some. They'd apparently killed Mercuro's brother Scarius, whom he buried with his ancestors, facing Nornalhorst, and swore to avenge him. Some soldiers were hired to retrieve various mementos from the ruins and return them to their rightful owners in Vlastarus.

By the time of the Oblivion Crisis in 3E 433, the subterranean halls of the ruins were occupied by a coven of vampires.
