The Norvulk Hills is a settlement found on the rolling hills of Stormhaven, in the province of High Rock. It is built from the ruins of the same name, which was named after Norvulk Tome-Hoarder, an eccentric wizard from the Second Empire.

History[edit]

The Norvulk Ruins have lost their original name as the eras kept going, but it garnered its name from its inhabitant, the wizard, Norvulk Tome-Hoarder, who was active in the Second Empire. Sometime later in 2E 582, it was redoubt used by the Supernal Dreamers to plunder its riches and secrets, But it became a base for the Order of the Black Worm, and the King of Worms, Mannimarco used it as a place to store his important documents. Dremora wandered across the halls and kept cursed artifacts that the Undaunted had later purified.

During the Imperial Simulacrum in the late-Third Era, the village of Norvulk Hills was an active settlement. It was ruled by Lady Chrystorya and had a rivalry with Wind Keep. The only temple it had at the time was the Brotherhood of Seth. The Norvulk Hills were neighbored by several settlements, including Portdun Creek to the north and Vermeir Wastes to the south.
