Roscrea is an island speculated to lie off the northern coast of Skyrim, in the Sea of Ghosts, although its exact location is unknown. It was conquered by Uriel Septim V in 3E 271 during his travel between Tamriel and Akavir.
Late in the Third Era, Solitude, one of the richest and most influential counties in Skyrim, started to expand its influence by annexing several former Imperial territories, including Roscrea.
