Making into a race page[edit]

In order to be consistent with both Race and Continent pages, I think this page needs to be dedicated to the races on Akavir, rather than being a redirect. Normally, I would just move my sandbox here, but when I looked at the amount of links, I thought it would be better to bring it up here first. ~ Ad intellige (talk) 15:26, 2 November 2014 (GMT)

Your sandbox looks good to me. Makes sense to have an overview page in the same vein as Beastfolk or Mer. I would recommend scanning through the pages that link here and updating any that mean to link to the continent or a specific race. -- Hargrimm(T) 00:49, 3 November 2014 (GMT)
I was kind of hoping not to have to do that though lol. Perhaps it would be a good idea to put an {{About}} just in case? Obviously I would still search through the 50+ links, but if some are vague it might be worth it. ~ Ad intellige (talk) 00:54, 3 November 2014 (GMT)
What about the human inhabitants of Akavir (whose skeletons we see at Pale Pass)? Should they be mentioned?

I was wanting to mention them, but I can't find anything reliable on them other than that they were "eaten" whatever that means. ~ Ad intellige (talk) 02:10, 5 November 2014 (GMT)
In my quick scan of the links most are ambiguous in what they are referencing, so I'm going to go ahead and move my sandbox in here and put an about tag on the top. ~ Ad intellige (talk) 17:05, 5 November 2014 (GMT)

Imperial interbreeding[edit]

The 1st edition Pocket Guide to the Emperor states (emphasis added) "there are trace facial features of the Akaviri in many distinguished Cyrodilic families. Some colonies of "true Akaviri" still exist in both the Empire and its border regions, but they are named so only for their practices and customs than for the purity of their blood." This says at least one Akaviri race is capable of interbreeding with Imperials. Should this be added somewhere? --2dgirlfan (talk) 04:40, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

Not really, the men that live there are still Akaviri and are likely the source of the interbreeding. There's nothing to suggest that the interbreeding took place between the rather more biologically different races. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 17:48, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

*Which* Akaviri formed the Dragonguard?[edit]

If "Akaviri" is a catch all for five distinct species and cultures, that war with each other, which one formed the Dragonguard? - 101.187.185.193 04:54, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

According to Alduin's Wall, they were humanoid (had legs), but in some way related to the serpent Tsaesci, given the style of their armor. --Jimeee (talk) 08:03, 28 June 2019 (UTC)
