Gods Box[edit]

Arkay isn't listed in the Aedra & Daedra box at the bottom, how do I fix this? — Unsigned comment by 92.2.213.190 (talk) at 15:03 on January 8, 2011

That box is actually a transcribed Template, so it can only be edited at the source. But anyway, the seven Aedra listed are so for a reason. Arkay is not an Aedra, despite being one of the Nine Divine. As the page says, there are conflicting stories, but neither has him as one of the original Divine. Much like the reason why Talos is not included. --DKong27 Talk Cont 20:15, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Actually The Monomyth has him as one of the first spirits, as is in the article. So according to that he is an Aedra. 80.42.223.183 02:22, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Aedroth[edit]

This edit made me wonder: Is Aedroth a valid word? As a singular adjective, Daedra becomes Daedroth, so why not Aedra to Aedroth? Of course Daedroth is used in in-game literature. --DKong27 Talk Cont 20:58, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

The daedroth/daedra question is an old one, mainly explained here, although the existence of an actual creature called a daedroth complicates things, to the point where "daedra" is also used as a singular in many places, for instance here, where Azura is referred to as "A daedra".
The word "aedroth" doesn't occur in the literature so the edit is almost certainly right. rpeh •TCE 21:19, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Lorkhan's "supervision/urging/trickery"[edit]

It says "Lorkhan's supervision/urging/trickery." Does anyone have a better way to convey this? I don't even know if this part of the sentence is necessary at all. Hope 17:42, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
