Spelling[edit]

The article is spelt Deshaan, howeer, the article also spells it Deshann. I've changed the article to uniformly state Deshaan, however it may be worth verifying.--OblivionDuruza 00:28, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Edit: Scratch that, the Pocket Guide spells it Deshaan. This should be its spelling if there is no objection. --OblivionDuruza 00:31, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
Good catch. Searching the site the only uses of "Deshann" are on my talk page archives and in a Tamriel Rebuilt book. But there are multiple lore books that use Deshaan, and even TR uses Deshaan elsewhere (e.g., Deshaan Bread), so it seems safe to say that Deshaan is correct. --NepheleTalk 01:23, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Fact Check[edit]

I can't find a source for the notion that the plain stops at Narsis. The first Pocket Guide is the only substantive in-game source, and it gives every indication that the plain covers most if not all of the southern border with Morrowind and doesn't stop at Narsis. This info was added by user Benould, who is not active anymore, in 2008, which makes it too old to be info from the novels. Searches are turning up nothing from Morrowind or Oblivion.

Benould seems have introduced a bunch of false information into the lore pages a long time regarding this region; Lore:Thir River also has details which I am entirely unable to corroborate. The "Silnion Vale" isn't even mentioned on TIL; google searches only turn up forum hits, some of them in foreign languages. Minor EditsThreatsEvidence 05:23, 14 April 2013 (GMT)
