What is the Elden Grove exactly?[edit]

In Arena, Elden Grove is seen as a dungeon, but there are various hints that imply that the entire Valenwood forest is the Elden Grove. The hints in the city descriptions in Arena and The Book of the Great Tree play on this. The description for Silvenar and Greenheart imply that it stretches from the Blue Divide, almost to the Strid River. So my question is, is Elden Grove the greater region of Valenwood, like the Old Holds or the Great House districts, or is it just a very specific part of Valenwood, or is it both and the dungeon is like the inner sanctum or something. --Vincentius1 (talk) 01:55, 2 February 2018 (UTC)

I'd still say that it is a rather specific, secluded area in the forest, since its location is not universally known. In Arena, the first level of the dungeon was set outdoors, in the actual grove, and only the lower levels were actually underground. The descriptions of the cities are a good catch, though, and it might be possible that the name is also used in a wider context. --Vordur Steel-Hammer (TINV1K) 07:21, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
