Too poor article. Why it does not contain info from Telvannis mode for Morrowind? — Unsigned comment by 81.18.54.92 (talk) at 01:07 on 14 September 2008

Because we don't include information about mods. If you think the article is poor, improve it. That's going to be far more helpful than whining on a talk page. –RpehTCE 03:52, 14 September 2008 (EDT)
Yes, but how can I improve it if you do not include information about mods? The point is, I did instaled Telvannis mod, and I want to find some more info about it. Other people would want to find this info too. I do not think that you should regard mod from Tamriel Rebuilt community just as any other small mod because Telvannis is rather an expansion than a mod, something like Bloodmoon expansion (no matter that it is unofficial, but is it the name of this site - "unofficial pages"?). Anyway, this site should contain info about Telvannis mod. 81.18.54.92 07:39, 14 September 2008 (EDT)
It's called "unofficial" because we're nothing to do with Bethesda, not because we document unofficial mods. The only mods we have much mention of are the unofficial patches because they fix so many bugs. If we start documenting one expansion mod, people will start adding more and more until the base content of the game is obscured by information from mods that most people will never install. –RpehTCE 10:50, 14 September 2008 (EDT)

Telvanni?[edit]

I read in a book that the eastcoast of morrowind is ruled by the Indoril. --77.2.11.189 09:06, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

The Indoril region covers the southern half of the east coast, up to Necrom, but not nearly all the way up to Firewatch, which is at the northernmost point of the mainland. There was a map somewhere, if I can find it again I'll link it, since the map that was on this page before didn't actually show the location of Firewatch on it, so I removed it. --TheRealLurlock Talk 03:39, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
You can see Firewatch on the Arena Map. — Kimi the Elf (talk | contribs) 03:56, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw that one. I thought there was one of just Morrowind, not the whole continent. I also remember one that showed all of the regions color-coded by which Great House has power there, but the closest I see to that here is this one, which only shows Vvardenfell. It might've been something I saw on the Tamriel Rebuilt pages somewhere, which would make it not official lore. If the Arena map is the only official one anywhere that shows the location of Firewatch I suppose we can use that, but I'd prefer a more localized one if it exists... --TheRealLurlock Talk 02:22, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
That actually is the localised version; the provincial maps were joined into a single image. Until someone can provide an individual image for each province (because I don't think cropping the current one would look very good), I think it's the best we're gonna get. --Legoless 12:47, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, come to think of it you'd think I'd have remembered since I was the one who did that. But again, since that map doesn't show Firewatch on it, it doesn't make sense to use it on this page. --TheRealLurlock Talk 02:07, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, I was talking about the Arena map, not the pocket guide one. --Legoless 20:43, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

Is Firewatch an Imperial Fort[edit]

I've seen several things implying that Firewatch is an Imperial fort, this was from minor mentions that I don't remember where to the Tamriel Rebuild page of Firewatch. Frankly, I like the idea that Firewatch is an Imperial Fort in association with House Telvanni but I kind of what some sort of clarification. I just hope we see Northeastern Morrowind and the Telvanni Isles in ESO. --Vincentius1 (talk) 01:09, 14 September 2017 (UTC)

To my knowledge, while TR did indeed depict Firewatch as an Imperial city, there is no source that would confirm it. However, I've seen such claims on the Lore:Morrowind and Lore:House Telvanni pages, and I removed them because of the lack of source.
If the Telvanni Peninsula ever appears in ESO, it's really unlikely that Firewatch will be an Imperial fort, as the Empire does not have a presence in Morrowind in the Second Era. --Vordur Steel-Hammer (TINV1K) 06:26, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
Yep. Its from Tamriel Rebuilt. Mentions it on this page. Timeoin (talk) 08:57, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
I beg to differ Mr. Steel-Hammer, after the Four-Score War, Vivec gave the Reman Empire areas in Eastern Morrowind, where Tel Aruhn and Tel Mothrivra are. For all we know, Firewatch could be an Imperial Fort from the Reman Era in ESO, and that it could have been attacked by the Akaviri during the Second Akaviri Invasion, which would lead to House Telvanni establishing a tower from the ruins. This is speculation obviously but it's a possibility. It's Vincentius1 by the way--146.111.225.220 16:00, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
Good catch, although even if it were a case, it would likely be abandoned or ruined by the time of ESO. I guess we shall see if they ever decide to include the area in the game. --Vordur Steel-Hammer (TINV1K) 16:47, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
