Maybe a typo?

Just a quick question. Is the name of the empress "herta", or is this a typo, and her name is spelled "hestra"? I ask because there are hestra rune stones in-game (Oblivion).— Unsigned comment by 97.124.110.242 (talk) on 7 February 2010

I think it's probably a typo for "Hestra", or as suggested here, an old version of the name. I can't find the source for that line anywhere on the 'net, so I'm very suspicious of it. rpeh •T•C•E• 15:32, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Hestra-Herda-Herta

First of all, I can't find any record of Herta. It appears to be information taken from the old site and transferred here. Is this from Arena or Daggerfall or something? "Herda" appears in 3rd Pocket Guide - Valenwood; we're given next to no info about her other than that the Empress ruled before 1E 2716. The "Herta" entry says she ruled in 1029, while The Legend of Red Eagle and other sources assert "Hestra" ruled circa 1030.

They're most likely all the same person and Hestra is the only one we have substantial information about. So, until if and when we get more info, I think Herda and Herta should just redirect there, and the information on them should be carefully merged into the Hestra article (i.e., we specifically articulate that "Herta" did this and "Herda" did that so readers won't be misled). Heliand

Hardin the Herbalist

A link from the authors page directs to http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Hardin#Hardin, but there is no listing here. I'm unable to find what historical significance this writer has beyond the under-referenced Special Flora of Tamriel (ironwood trees in Skyrim? Where?). Haskill as Sheogorath?

In Haskill's section it mentions 'Haskill serves the Champion as the new Madgod, and has been known to substitute the new Sheograth when summoned to Mundus.' Do we have anything to prove this? 31.54.177.192 15:48, 20 April 2014 (GMT)

Yes. The references can be found on Haskill's own page, which leads to the Sheogorath daedric quest from base Oblivion. If you've gone far enough in the Shivering Isles questline, Haskill will speak to you in place of Sheogorath (or more accurately, yourself). Hoag Stormcloak?

Any objections to an entry for Hoag's father? Policy would call for the creation of a separate page and transcluding it here. Even though there's not much to say about Ulfric's overall, there's a bit of OOG regarding him from the Prima guide, and that's not supposed to appear on the multitopic pages.

How positive are we that Hoag Merkiller isn't his name? Or rather, that his ancestor (as Shuryard pointed out, the text indicates simply an ancestor, not that Hoag is his biological father) isn't actually this person?
