Question regarding the creation of Orcs

• Father Of The Niben suggests that the Orc creation myth may be inaccurate, as Topal the Pilot encountered creatures he called "orcs" long before Trinimac's encounter with Boethiah. - I'm not sure what is the canonical "Orc creation myth", since there are several books about how it happened, but doesn't the Father of the Niben book in fact support the history, instead of contesting it? That there existed ancestors to Orcs before the transformation of Orcs is stated in other books, hardly anyone claims that no proto-Orcs existed. Topal travels during middle Merethic Era and all sources I've seen seem to agree that it was in the middle Merethic Era when the Orcs were transformed due to the encounter between Trinimac-Boethiah.
• Further, The True Nature of Orcs simply states that Orcs appeared around the same time as other groups (end of Dawn Era). It doesn't say that they transformed during Dawn Era. (I didn't see any other source mentioning Dawn Era.) Tib (talk) 15:20, 4 July 2016 (UTC)

Supposed "Aldmeri statue of Trinimac in Auridon" - source?

Is there a source claiming that this statue is actually a depiction of Trinimac? I have never came across anything either in or out of game linking it to him. In fact, this generic statue has only two bits of info attached to it that I am aware of:

• The "Ancient High Elf Statue" furnishing as shown here [1]
• A reference in the Improved Emperor's Guide to Tamriel claiming it "might be... Phynaster".

If there is nothing equating this statue with Trinimac, I believe it should be removed. I mean, if it's purely based on supposed aesthetic similarities with the Orsimer statue, there's another generic Aldmeri statue that looks even more like it, the one standing with a massive sword and shield in Vulkhel Guard.— Unsigned comment by 217.44.197.188 (talk) at 17:11 on 24 March 2019 (UTC)

Dubious claim of an unidentified Altmeri/Ayleidoon statue being Trinimac

The second picture in the gallery -- entitled "Altmeri statue of Trinimac" -- is of an unidentified figure. The in-game name for the statue is "Ancient Elf Statue" and The Improved Emperor's Guide to Tamriel suggests that it might be Phynaster. We have no evidence that it is Trinimac so this probably ought to be removed from this page. TheLinguist (talk) 19:52, 13 April 2020 (GMT)

The connection to Trinimac comes from Bewan, which is mentioned as being a temple dedicated to Trinimac and these are the only statues in there, which completely fill the place. Furnishings are purposefully vague, and because of asset re-use, many statues are used to represent multiple things (I'm not going to point out examples, its quite common when you do any quest with statues involved) so I'm quite indifferent over what the statue is supposed to represent The Rim of the Sky (talk) 20:49, 13 April 2020 (GMT)

Too literal-minded

Regarding the Being Eaten section, wouldn't this quote rather mean the tale is somewhat inaccurate, as opposed to somewhat accurate? "Too literal-minded" would imply that the tale isn't to be taken literally, and may be closer to pure myth, speculation, or metaphor.
