Irarak

Irarak is a Dark Elf acrobat vampire who has set himself up as a god, residing in the Ginith Ancestral Tomb, west of Gnisis. His true name as a mortal was Gulmon Droth. He has gathered quite a following, earning the attention of Volrina Quarra, who wants you to kill Irarak.

Irarak wears an extravagant robe with matching gloves and shoes. He carries nothing else, and fights using hand-to-hand combat.

Unique Dialogue[edit]

"Greetings, my dark friend. Welcome to the Brood of Lord Irarak."
Brood of Lord Irarak
"Yes, I am the Dark Lord Irarak, and these are my minions. They serve me as their Dark Master. Perhaps one day I will bestow upon them the gift of Life Eternal, but until then, they will be content to serve me obediently. They provide comfort for me, while I provide them with my presence."
provide comfort
"Yes. They supply me with food, shelter, and other material gains. They are my children, protecting me from those who would hunt our kind. And, if they earn it, perhaps I will one day bring them into my Dark Embrace to walk the night with me as vampire."
material gains
"Yes, well...there are those benefits as well. Look, I am beginning to see your angle here. I've got a good thing going, and I don't want it ruined. I'll pay you well to leave us in peace here, friend vampire. I will tell them that you are my Blood-Friend who walks above, spreading our word to others. I'll also pay you well. What do you say?"
Option Dialogue
I'll let you live, for a price. "Sounds like a bargain, but it would be best if you never returned here. Take this."
You are a buffoon. You must die. "Me die? I think not, vampire. To me, my minions! Slay this false god! He seeks to kill me!!!"

Sparing him:

"What is it, Blood Friend? How may the Lord Irarak be of service to you?"
Lord Irarak
"Yes, I am the Lord Irarak. What can I do for you, Blood Friend?"
material gains
"I think we've said enough on that topic."

Notes[edit]

  • Although Irarak is of the Berne bloodline, he doesn't belong to the Berne faction.
  • If you are not a vampire, Irarak will not attack you, and when you talk to him he will ask if you are there to "join the fold". Despite this, you can't answer his question or join his cult.
  • If you choose to kill Irarak, he will refer to you as "he" regardless of your character's gender.
  • Irarak, despite being a vampire, does not drop vampire dust when killed.
  • Irarak may be the same person as Gulmon Droth, a cultist in ESO.
