No they could not have become vampires because they all died.

Here's what it meant, Vivic fell in love with molag ball, and there was a wedding and they were having a wedding ceremony. The daedra were much like Warhammer gods and were very creative in giving their armies abilities and what they looked like (so keep this in mind). So a guy with lots of power came in to crash the wedding with a whole army, but vivic was clever and did a power giving ceremony that wouldn't work the same for the enemy, so the enemy would think they saw a power boost move and match the enemy in power, who they probably thought did something quite the same, on the spot, so as to fight and defeat an army [But in trying to match power, they successfully casted an enormous powerbuff, but, since they didn't know the password, the area converted them into a much, much less powerful form, so instead of a super god mode fight to the death sayen style, the super caos army lost all of it's abilities and could only bight]. Malog bal fell into a zombie like pit of a race that does not exist any more, but was still frightening (some legions were planets). They vowed not to consider the king of rape dude beautiful, and vivic, who was having a wedding went on a (you just killed my love rage) and slayed every single one of the converted God army, that was now still pretty terrifying and over powered, but not for him as he had a fraction of power to make into a spear and killed everything. So in other words, an army that obviously would have crushed them (as malag bal and the king of rape were destroyed after the conversion), was cleverly turned into lesser things (including the daemon prince) were hunted down without rest, in grief and anger and rage and hate.

No, seven chaos legions were turned into a lesser things so that could vivic could slay to a single one. They weren't turned into vampires, vampires still exist. It's actually pretty friggin clever. -Dutyclause
