Construction Contract Given Before Dagoth Ur Defeat[edit]

I recently started this quest and found that I did not have to give the Duke my word to get the permit. I believe that, upon completing 'Hortator and Nerevarine', you do not have to give your word, not upon defeating Dagoth Ur, as stated in the article. Would be grateful for other experiences to narrow down when the contract is given as a token of gratitude--Highkingnm (talk) 11:17, 28 September 2013 (GMT)

I have only entered the cave of the incarnate and gotten the ring, and he didn't make me promise anything. He said "Yes, I know of your deeds, Naravarine. I will grant you a construction contract. Here, take it as a token of my gratitude for all you have done for my people. Maybe you need to be to this point, the ring proves who you are. Or maybe you can do out sooner, just after gaining enough reputation from main storyline. - 1:06pm May 21 2014
I've checked in the CS: you have to have at least stage 50 in the Incarnate quest for the Duke to just outright give you the contract, so yes, talking to Azura and getting Moon-and-Star is the only sufficient condition. -- Kertaw48 (talk) 07:55, 7 June 2014 (GMT)

Wives[edit]

I find that http://uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Stronghold_(Redoran)#Attracting_Some_Women]The Wives are either wrong in this page or theres a glitch. It says If you do option 2, 3, or 4, the same ladies will show up in your stronghold (Heniele Milielle in Manor Service, and Assimusa Samsi outside) But I find no matter what I do even if I choose option 1 That Heniele Milielle always appers in Bal Isra. — Unsigned comment by 204.83.89.192 (talk) on 3:40, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
