From the article: "An interesting experiment that calls his own gender identity into question." Now, that's not only a fragment, it's uncited in the worst way. May I remove this sentence, or does it really serve a purpose I don't yet know? Somercy 13:47, 24 August 2007 (EDT)

It's possible the sentence might be a valid speculation on Divayth Fyr's page, but I don't think it belongs on this page, which is about the location, not the people that live there. In fact, the whole sentence about chromosomes and such doesn't really belong here either. (And who are we to say that Dunmer even have X and Y chromosomes as such? The terms are never used in-game, so that's just pure speculation.) All we know for sure is that he is male and his "daughters" are female, and supposedly clones of himself. Any ties between this and actual genetics are speculation, and not in any way derived from information in the game. For all we know, he cloned himself with "Magick", and such things as chromosomes and modern genetics engineering have no bearing on the subject. --TheRealLurlock Talk 14:00, 24 August 2007 (EDT)
So, we cut those two sentences out entirely? Want me to do that? 24.1.3.132 21:17, 24 August 2007 (EDT) ((Somercy 21:17, 24 August 2007 (EDT)))

It seems not much has changed since that discussion. There are still some things on the Tel Fyr page that more belong to the Divayth Fyr page. I would also like a section about the Daedric Sanctuary Amulet, which is currently described at several locations but quite deserves a nicely located section or page. Any suggestions ? -- Adjego 17:39, 7 February 2008 (EST)

Wow, I forgot about this discussion, yes, the speculation about modern genetics should still definitely be removed, as it has zero basis in in-game lore. And the Daedric Sanctuary Amulet could be added, along with mention of the Tel Fyr Amulet which can be found at Magas Volar (which if it weren't bugged would teleport you back to Tel Fyr). Feel free to make any such changes. --TheRealLurlock Talk 22:51, 7 February 2008 (EST)

Savior Pauldrons[edit]

I unlocked a cabinet on the other side of the upper tower in Tel Fyr, and I found two light pauldrons, the "Savior" left and right pauldrons. With my light armor at 100, it had an armor rating of 266, 9.0 weight, and a health of 900. I don't see anything at all about them in this wiki AT ALL. Anyone know if this is a glitch? Left out? Is there more of a set?

Sounds like a mod. There is a Cuirass of the Savior's Hide, which is found Tel Fyr, but there are no other pieces that go with it. Generally, it's a pretty safe assumption that if we haven't covered an item, then it's not in the game by default. I'm pretty sure we've got everything by now. (We don't cover 3rd-party mods for obvious reasons. There's just too many of them.) --TheRealLurlock Talk 22:49, 19 December 2008 (EST)

Plunder the dungeon[edit]

can someone please tell me how i do this? do i take the key next to him? does he give it to me? his disposition is up to 76 or so, so how do i do this? — Unsigned comment by 87.177.42.141 (talk) on 28 April 2010

You can take the key freely as Fyr doesn't own it. It opens a chest in the dungeon. That chest contains treasure and another key, which opens another chest that contains treasure and a key and so on. See this page to see the sequence. rpeh •TCE 08:35, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Grand soul gems[edit]

I've looked everywhere in onyx and I don't see any grand soul gems. However, there are 2 empty grand soul gems in the hall of fyr. I'm going to change this if no one objects. — Unsigned comment by 24.9.91.144 (talk)

Yes, they're in the Hall of Fyr, not Onyx Hall. (Onyx Hall doesn't even have any shelves, let alone soul gems on them.) I fixed it. --TheRealLurlock Talk 03:59, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Propylon Index[edit]

I just got the Corprus cure, meaning I've only talked to Divayth Fyr twice. I haven't had an option to speak to him about the Propylon Index on his table, as mentioned on the Tel Fyr page. Can I assume one must have the Master Index plug-in installed to get that option?
