Removed Sul-Matuul's directions[edit]

I removed the mention of Sul-Matuul's directions not being copied to the journal because they are indeed copied, at least in the PC GotY version. Mortzestus 22:17, 21 June 2007 (EDT)

is this relevant?[edit]

Moved to talk from main, sounds like a special case to me, i.e. can't talk to Ashlanders as a vampire:

For Vampires of the Quarra Clan you can reach the camp fastest by using the Quarra Amulet for transport to Druscashti which is near the camp.

Any comments? --Benould 18:59, 10 March 2008 (EDT)

Needs to be removed. Like you said, you can't complete this quest as a vampire so mentioning that one could teleport to Druscashti is irrelevant to completing the main quest in this manner.-RifleAvenger (not signed in atm)

Restarting a Broken Questline?[edit]

(moved from the article)
Note: If you somehow broke an earlier part of the main quest, you can still enter the Cavern of the Incarnate, and will still be declared Nevarine, and could presumably continue the main quest from there.

I've moved this because it lacks enough detail to be useful. What stage must have been reached prior to this, for instance? Also, "presumably" isn't good enough for UESP. This needs more work if it's to be useful. –RpehTCE 01:06, 22 May 2008 (EDT)

Avoiding Bypassing the Fourth and Fifth Challenges[edit]

I'm already >level 20 and I have >50 reputation... can I do the challenges, or do I have to do the shortcut instead? Tenwit 22:13, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Yes you can still do them. I'm usually in the same boat as you because I prefer to do the guild quests first, but you can still get the other quests if you ask for them. rpeh •TCE 16:30, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Will I be able do the quset after defeating dagoth ur?(Vvardfell 14:03, 27 September 2010 (UTC))
Nope. Once you've defeated Dagoth, they congratulate you for that rather than giving you quests when you ask about "Nerevarine". rpeh •TCE 14:10, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Another Shortcut[edit]

When I became Redoran Hortator, I did not have 50 Reputation, so I received the normal message from Sarethi, that I should visit the Archcanon if I should become both Hortator and Nerevarine. At the time I was also doing the fourth corner of the House of Troubles for the Temple, which is at the same location as the Ahemmusa Nerevarine. So figured I would kill two birds with one stone, and finished the other Hortator quests and did the Ahemmusa Nerevarine. When I came back to the Archcanon to claim the House of Troubles was complete, I had 50 Reputation and therefore, he immediately gave me the key to Vivec, skipping the other Nerevarine quests.
