you can cast it succesfully (or at least drink a potion for it) just a couple of meters underwater you will immediatley pop back up top but only a few meters under (Eddie the head 04:17, 24 April 2011 (UTC))

Doesn't happen. Which version of the game are you playing? rpeh •TCE 08:16, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
normal on xbox (Eddie the head 08:30, 24 April 2011 (UTC))
"Normal"? Vanilla or GotY? rpeh •TCE 08:34, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
vanilla (Eddie the head 08:45, 24 April 2011 (UTC))
Just checked and I get the same message on vanilla as I get on GotY. I'd like to hear from some other people on this. rpeh •TCE 09:15, 24 April 2011 (UTC)

water walking glitch[edit]

I've experienced a glitch where, if I fall into the water from a height which would normally hurt/kill me, and I cast Water Walking while in the water, I will receive the fall damage as soon as I get to the surface of the water. Should this be added? — Unsigned comment by 198.228.193.98 (talk) on 18 April 2012

Confirmed this glitch on the PC version. I took a dive from the top tier of the Foreign Quarter Canton in Vivec City and landed, unharmed, in the water. I got killed after casting Water Walking: a) immediately after the fall, b) after swimming on the surface for a few seconds, and c) after swimming underwater for a few seconds. Ah, I did use an Amulet of Water Walking, though... I'm not sure if casting it as a spell would have a different effect. I'll experiment a little bit more on this later. This is because when you land in water, the game doesn't officially register that you've actually landed yet and assumes you're still falling the whole time. You can avoid this by casting a Slowfall spell (even a very weak one) just before casting Water Walking. --TheRealLurlock Talk 03:04, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Am back. This glitch is solely related to Water Walking; the delayed fall damage does not take effect when I swim/wade back to the shore. I noted this in the article... but should it also be mentioned in the Glitches article? Salamangkero 13:41, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
This is old, but I think just the once is enough. Jeancey (talk) 22:14, 10 November 2013 (GMT)
