Maren the Seal

Maren the Seal is a Nord hunter who is a devout worshipper of the Daedric prince Peryite, and can be found with her fellow worshippers at Peryite's Shrine. When you meet her, Maren the Seal appears to be frozen in place until you complete Peryite's Shrine Quest.

Maren the Seal has a similar inventory to her fellow cultists as she wears a monk's robe, is armed with an iron dagger, and carries a few coins, the exact same items as all other members of the cult.

Maren was trapped in Oblivion while trying to get closer to Peryite. Once you speak to Peryite at his shrine he will request that you travel to Oblivion to save them. After traveling to the Realm of Peryite you will discover her on the eastern border of the map, on an island. You can free her soul by interacting with her.

Once you return to Nirn if you speak to her she will immediately end the conversation, making it impossible to ask her about anything.

Once you first discover Maren she is frozen in place until you complete her related quest, after completing the quest she will spend day and night worshipping at the shrine.

Notes

• The RefID for her soul (i.e., the part of her that is trapped in Peryite's Realm) is 000E7A8E.
• Though Maren the Seal has persuasion options, and she does speak of rumors, it is impossible to do either of these things as she will automatically end any conversation with you after you initiate it.
