Expulsion after The Purification[edit]

Notes on the first two Exiles state that you cannot obtain this quest after completing The Purification. Well, wouldn't killing the generic Dark Brotherhod Murders that arrive after Honor Thy Mother bring down this very punishment? —Dark Spark 17:10, 7 March 2008 (EST)

No, I just slew all of the Dark Brotherhood Murderers with no penalties. —Voldrek 18:37, 30 March 2008 (EDT)

Backup[edit]

Is it a glitch, or is it supposed to be that none of the guards attack it when it comes after you? i got a couple of Inn patrons to attack, but they were useless as they lack silver weapons or magic, and the guards just stood there. 75.92.5.255 01:32, 7 December 2008 (EST)

No effect?[edit]

yeah but it says my attacks dont effect the wrath of sithis? — Unsigned comment by 68.196.206.124 (talk) on 27 March 2009

Like all ethereal Undead, the Wrath of Sithis (a Gloom Wraith) has 100% Resist Frost, 100% Resist Poison and 100% Resist Normal Weapons, which means you need either a silver, daedric or enchanted weapon to deal damage. --SerCenKing 04:02, 27 March 2009 (EDT)

Vampirism + Wrath of Sithis[edit]

If you've contracted Polyphoric Hemophilia, have waited three days, are put on this quest, and then sleep, what happens? Do you become a vampire, do you get attacked, or both? Shashakiro 00:51, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

I've been experimenting with different characters (three to be exact) on this and all of them experienced the first stage of Vampirism and have been attacked by the Wrath of Sithis - One-Without-Morals

Clarification[edit]

It seems there has been some disagreement over whether this quest can still be obtained while The Purification is active. In other words, can you no longer get this quest after The Purification is started or after it is completed? Would anyone be willing to check this out? –Eshetalk 00:24, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Running Away[edit]

Moved from article page:

If you cannot defeat The Wrath of Sithis, it is possible to run away until it stops following you, it will dissappear and the quest will be completed.

In my testing, it appeared as though others were simply killing the Wrath of Sithis and then the message would pop up. However, in a follow-up discussion, the original poster indicated that this was an unlikely explanation given the circumstances at the time. I'll do more testing and examination in the CS, but would appreciate others' observations as well when running away from the Wrath. Robin HoodTalk 18:51, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Help![edit]

So, I had just joined the DB, accepted the first contract, but when i took some stuff from a chest (which was locked and didn't have a red icon), I was kicked out. So I killed the Wrath, then when I went back Vincente and Ocheeva just attack me. I run out, Vincente stays in but Ocheeva coems out and is killed by the guards, so I approach her and speak to her and she gives the 'can't speak here' thing, So I go back in, and the exact thing happens again! What should I do? --call999itsashark talkmail 15:17, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

I don't know what happened?!?![edit]

I pickpocketed one of the DB members and was kicked out and the wraith attacked me but I didn't have a good enough weapon so I ran into the fighters guild and I think they killed it but the green marker is inside the fighters guild and I haven't had a quest update and the wraith isn't there and I'm sure they killed it so what do I do??!!??!!
