Schedule[edit]

Ok, so I have been following this guy for 4 in-game days, and he is by far the most un-structrered NPC I have met yet. There's only two things in his schedule that happens for sure; His sleeping time and his trip to the Chapel. Plus the fact, that every time he wakes up, he takes a patrol around the castle. It seems that most of the time, he's stuck in the Barracks sleeping area, even though it seems like his cues for taking another patrol (which is 8am, 10am, 12pm, ect ect) kicks in. He stops at top of the stairs and then proceeds to walk around the sleeping area. Im not sure, this character was "born" to be followed really close, as it seems his schedule gets destroyed by it. For example, I had him take 3 patrols the first day I arrived (Fredas 6am, 8am, 10am, eating at 12pm - and then he got stuck in the sleeping area - but at least he ate at 7pm. The next day, he got out of bed, took 1 patrol and was stuck in the sleeping area for the rest of the day, without eating. On Sundas, he got up, patrolled as usual, travelled to the Chapel at 10am, got back and was stuck in the sleeping area for the ret of the da, without eating. And on Morndas he did the same (without the chapel, of course) and is now stuck again.

I'm not sure what to make of all this - but as stated I can find 2-3 things that are certain in the schedule - the rest is really random, and I have a feeling he's bugged, because he can't leave the sleeping area. I would recommend a little rewrite of the schedule, and maybe a personal check from one of you mod's - just to make sure, you get the same results. Krusty 10:50, 20 February 2009 (EST)

I don't get quite the same results as you. Yes the patrol schedules are random but he definitely does all of them, taking several hours to finish. I think the key is that they all have the "Once per day" flag set. That means he will only do each patrol once and spend rather more time in the barracks than I stated. –RpehTCE 13:00, 20 February 2009 (EST)

Ok, then let's leave it at that. I had a feeling I was running around a bit too much anyway. :) Krusty 13:05, 20 February 2009 (EST)

Dialogue[edit]

I just tried way too many times to make him say his unique greeting. On level 1, 6 and 38 - and even though I took my very first save (fresh from the sewers) and tried to approach him, he would still only give me a "yes?" or something similar. Can somebody else give this a try in-game? Krusty 23:06, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

I just tried way too many more times and got the same result. Digging into the CS it seems that all the Guard greetings are "above" his unique greeting in the list, which means the game will pick one of those first. It's complicated even more by the fact that the greeting only has a 20% chance of being played anyway. I think we can say that it doesn't get used. Probably should go in as a bug. –rpehTCE 17:12, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

moved from article[edit]

  • If a crime, such as assault from feeding as a vampire, is committed upon Danus, he will not punish the player.

I'm aware that most captains lack the arrest dialogue due to their race, but this sounds a bit odd. --Krusty 08:05, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

Playing fully patched and UOPed PC get arrested...multiple times. Fun, but disproving. --DKong27 Talk Cont 13:38, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
