Killed[edit]

I killed her during The Ultimate Heist quest...that won't come back to bite me on the ass later, right? - Some Random Person Obsessed with Oblivion

No. She doesn't perform any function in the game. --RpehTalk 06:07, 21 August 2007 (EDT)

Dark Brotherhood[edit]

As Listener, the Night Mother points out to you a Breton named Evangeline who has prayed to her. Does that have any significance? - Anon Listener

I don't think it has any significance. I have always thought they are random names. It may just be a coincidence. I hope someone else can give you a more precise answer. --Mankar CamoranTCE 08:53, 24 November 2007 (EST)
No significance at all. The names and places are just picked out of random dialogue. See the quest page (here) for more information. --RpehTCE 09:10, 24 November 2007 (EST)
I didn't even know there was a separate quest page for that! Things have improved a lot in the past few months here, and a lot of it is due to you, Rpeh. --Mankar CamoranTCE 09:19, 24 November 2007 (EST)

Schedule Trouble![edit]

This is a bit strange. At midnight, she was supposed to sleep for six hours, probably in the big bed in front of the fireplace. Problem is, she doesn’t. She changes her behavior somewhat, and seems to find a fixed spot in front of the bed (I tried to push her away and she just returned) – but she would also occasionally make her usual patrolling before returning to the spot. This went on for the entire night. It must be some kind of bug, but which one? --Krusty 12:08, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Ok, I think I've got this. The location for her sleeping package is set to 'Editor Location' - which is probably the spot in front of the bed - rather than to an actual bed. This is like Borissean basically. Can you get her to eat normally? --SerCenKing Talk 13:05, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Yup, she eats for two hours at 6am and 6pm - so the schedule just needs some tweaking (the bug actually makes the quest harder?) - and maybe a bug note? --Krusty 14:28, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Done! --SerCenKing Talk 14:41, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Source?[edit]

"High Chancellor Ocato's personal bodyguard". What is the source of this information? Dragon Guard  (talk) 15:02, 1 January 2015 (GMT)

Well, she's guarding his bedroom. —Legoless (talk) 14:19, 2 January 2015 (GMT)
Well (laughs) the guards are guarding the palace. Evangeline may be a bodyguard of Ocato...actually, come to think of it...what would a personal bodyguard be neglecting him for? She is in his bedroom just about all the time and not downstairs with him. Dragon Guard  (talk) 15:58, 2 January 2015 (GMT)
True, the two never actually meet, but there's little else you could call her aside from personal bodyguard. "Mysterious angry woman in his private quarters" doesn't quite roll off the tongue. —Legoless (talk) 16:31, 2 January 2015 (GMT)
Still, little to no biography is known about her (apart from the game guide book maybe)? For all we know Ocato and Evangeline could have an intimate relationship (boyfriend/girlfriend, partners, husband/wife...et cetera). Dragon Guard  (talk) 17:06, 2 January 2015 (GMT)
Who even added that part to the article anyway? Maybe they had a source? If not, then by all means per the style guide, the "personal bodyguard" part could be removed. Thoughts? Dragon Guard  (talk) 17:44, 2 January 2015 (GMT)
Looking at the article, the quote is actually "High Chancellor Ocato's personal guard". I think that's perfectly fine to say, since she's clearly guarding his personal quarters. —Legoless (talk) 18:10, 2 January 2015 (GMT)
Okay, not too sure about that; assuming I'm reading correctly, "personal guard" seems to be based upon conjecture so maybe it should be removed from the article. ThuumofReason told me conjecture isn't appropriate. Dragon Guard  (talk) 18:45, 2 January 2015 (GMT)

() Well, while her official station may never be given, the fact that she's guarding his quarters suggests that she's either a guard of some high rank or a battlemage entrusted to his service. While her precise position is unknown, she's clearly trusted to guard the de facto Emperor's personal quarters, so she must have some rank of that nature.
