Bugged[edit]

While I was researching his schedule, I discovered that he actually only sleeps about 10min (i.e he went to sleep at 10pm and woke up at 10:10pm). Could someone verify in the CS if there's something wrong with this guy, or in-game to see is this is a one-off glitch please? --MC S'drassa T2M 18:37, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

Well spotted S'drassa: his sleeping is bugged. Basically his Sleep AI package (BrumaBeggarSleep01) is set as a 'Wander' type instead of a 'Sleep' type. Since the location data is a radius around his bedroll, what probably happens is that he uses the bedroll, then "remembers" that he's supposed to wander, gets up and strolls about. Is this what you saw in-game? --SerCenKing Talk 18:44, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Yes, that's exactly what happened: He went to sleep, woke up all of sudden and then he just wandered around his bedroll. Thanks for the fast reply! --MC S'drassa T2M 18:47, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
No problems, I was using the CS for another NPC so it took literally 5 secs :) Good to see a new ONPCRP member and if you need any more CS detective work, feel free to ask. --SerCenKing Talk 18:49, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

Wierd talking?[edit]

When I talk to Jorck, he sounds like a nord. When I ask him about the 'gray fox' topic, he sounds like an old man. I don't recall ever hearing the voice that is used when he speaks about the gray fox anywhere else in the game. Anyone know why this is? I'm using the xbox 360 version — Unsigned comment by ‎76.21.230.121 (talk) at 22:46 on 4 August 2010

Liar[edit]

When he asks me for money, he sounds like a sickly old man. When I give him money, he says "thank you kind lady" in the strong, hearty nord voice like everyone else. He just cheated me out of a coin. — Unsigned comment by 74.82.64.32 (talk) at 18:47 on 28 October 2011 (UTC)

That's because the voice acting in Oblivion pretty much sucks. Also, he will ask you for money even if he has thousands of gold on him.RIM 18:39, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
The problems with Oblivion's voice acting have been pointed out many times. The beggars are the best examples with the problems with the voice acting. It's a problem with all of the beggars. If you value your gold so highly, just never give gold to them, there isn't any reward for doing so. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:47, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
