Small discrepancy[edit]

".... there is a 50% chance that the Countess will stop by Mahei's house to see Numeen." (emphasis added)

I just wanted to nitpick over this. The Countess' page gives the impression that she is friends with both Mahei and Numeen, but perhaps more so with Mahei since her page mentions him repeatedly. So some small changes on both pages seem appropriate to clarify the question: is the Countess better friends with Numeen than Mahei, or vice versa, or are they basically equal?Minor Edits 02:50, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure that anyone can say that the Countess has a preference. The page was written by UESP and not by Bethesda. As a result, there is no way of knowing whether or not she was meant to have a preference, meaning that they are basically equal. Kalis Agea 02:44, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Okay. I know this is page is not a Bethesda, of course, but I figured eventually someone who had already shadowed this couple and learned their routine would check this and be able to say if the Countess spent significantly more overall time interacting with one than the other. I don't want to make changes of any substance at all about things I know nothing about. Minor Edits 02:50, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, sorry about that. I am aware that you know who wrote this page; I sometimes forget that I even have an audience when I'm responding to other users! Anyway, thanks for your input. :D Kalis Agea 03:01, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
The AI package that causes the Countess to visit the house is called AlessiaCaroVisitNumeen and causes her to seek out Numeen specifically. Since the package explicitly names the person in question, I guess that's where the schedule writer took his queue. Having found Numeen, she'll probably talk to anybody who happens to be present. rpeh •TCE 08:18, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Oh, thanks! Problem solved. I guess I'll fix the Countess' page; it says she goes to visit Mahei.Minor Edits 08:38, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Speculative note?[edit]

Is there any real evidence that Mahei and his wife were originally intended to be Bretons, as the note says? What I see looks more like speculation based on circumstantial evidence. --Xyzzy Talk 13:11, 5 October 2012 (GMT)
