schedule[edit]

not sure how to add links or if this has to be checked before posting to main page... Orran Margath 16:45, 29 May 2009 (EDT) oh yea this was done ingame

Ra'Jahirr wakes at about 6:00 am and proceedes out of his house to the Five Claws Lodges where he nibbles away at his breakfast in the northeast corner. At about 8:00 am he wanders out and tours the town performing idle chat occasionally. Between noon and 2:00 pm he can be found browsing in the Best Goods & Guarentees, but does not purchase anything judging by his limited inventory before and after, consisting of a few gold and his house key. after window shoping he again wanders town, talking occasionally until 8:30 when he returns to the Five Claws Lodge with others but seems to just wait for better food. between 12:00 and 12:30 he returns home and directly to bed. Nice work! The schedule is nearly correct (you still need to describe what he's doing between 2pm and 4pm, though). Keep in mind, that the NPC pages are written and designed based on a set of guidelines. Meaning, that you don't have to mention his inventory in the middle of the schedule, That should be included in its own seperate section along with his clothing.(example here) Here are some other tips, you should take into consideration when you're writing schedules;
  • There's no such thing as "about 6am" - the NPCs will always change their ways on exact times and the times should be described as such. He returns to the Five Claws at 8pm sharp.
the first time i followed it was 7:59 the next was 8:25 according to the time on the map, ::maybe my system lag? Orran Margath 18:26, 29 May 2009 (EDT)
  • Since this NPC have "outdoor activities" you should follow him on a rainy day - I haven't, but I find it more than likely that he will skip a lot of his wandering around town if it rains. If he skips some things during rainy days it should be mentioned at the end of the schedule as an "exception" (example here)
will do, new console command to learn Orran Margath 18:26, 29 May 2009 (EDT)
  • Times should always be written as "6am", not "6.00 am".
what about 6:30?? not trying to be a smart alec, just being thourough
  • Links are done by marking the name of the place and pressing the "Oblivion" button at the "Wiki markup" (just below the "save page"-window. The link will be provided automatically, and all you have to do is state, what the name of the link should be. Take a look at the links on one of the above examples.
  • Always(!) use the preview button until you're completely satisfied with the result. Multiple edits are a pain on the NPCs "edit history" and should be avoided. Of course, everybody makes mistakes and no one will shout at you for making one.
ha learned how to indent, and i will do my best to avoid multiple edits, but i can forsee it being my worst fault, after this npc i won't need to do as much i don't think anyway, hope nobody minds me learning like this.Orran Margath 18:26, 29 May 2009 (EDT)

Cupboard Hassle[edit]

For some reason, This guy walked into Best Goods and Guarantees and constantly tried to open the Cupboard behind the counter that required a key. Any reason for this? Lucky the Cat Guy. 04:58, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Interesting. At noon, he has an AI package that causes him to search for a ranged weapon of at least 5 gold value in BG&G. The package is called "LeyawiinShopBestGoods12x2" but it would seem to be more "steal" than "shop". –rpehTCE 05:27, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Even weirder, When I pushed the shopowner away (The male bosmer) Into a dark corner to take his key, the Khajiit followed him. It seems like he was activateing him, But the Cupboard was makeing the "Locked" sound. Lucky the Cat Guy. 05:29, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
