Corpse[edit]

When he dies, is he suppose to leave a corpse? Since it seems to me that his corpse simply disappears immediately after his death. 71.160.164.152 23:45, 27 May 2008 (EDT)

Yes, he leaves a corpse but it is small like a ghost's or wraiths so look under where he dies...Drake3555 22:32, 8 June 2008 (EDT)

Image[edit]

I do realize this page needs a standards conforming image (i.e: square) however this NPC is unique in that he is represented by two different figures in-game. What would be the consensus on a "main" image, and a "secondary" image? I'm leaning towards the ghost "Sir Berich" as a primary image and leaving the existing image of the wraith for explanation.

Also, if someone could elaborate by "shaded effect" what is meant - as I haven't the slightest idea (I'm thinking it would be easier to re-write it to say "somewhat resembles a gloom wraith" - as he seemingly has different illumination however the multiple monster references seems confusing). When he is a wrath, he is actually a creature, not an NPC. The KotN Creatures page isn't amazing atm and eventually the wrath should have its own page, with an image of its own. That said, the image here on this page should show the NPC, not the creature. We may as well keep the layout as it is though, with the secondary image being that of the wraith. To answer your second question, the "shader" is actually a spell used by Nether Liches, Sir Berich's wraith form and Logren Benirus. Its scripted effect simply gives the afore mentioned creatures that sort of ethereal glow they have. --SerCenKing Talk 17:14, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Lord Berich Vlindrel Page[edit]

I noticed the cleanup, so I've created a part of what is to be the new page, which can be found here. ~ Dwarfmp 20:44, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

I gave it a little polish - I hope that's okay. rpeh •TCE 10:06, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
Yes, of course. Frankly, I expect people to work on it, I'm not quite sure what else it needs in order to be ready for it's own page. I copied some text from the original Sir Berich page, assuming that's ok. I suppose it needs more text, as it looks rather empty, but other than that, any suggestions? ~ Dwarfmp 20:07, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
First if all, great work! Second, I think the page needs a square image, just so we can see how the layout will turn out. Also, I'll try to add some more background story when I get back from work later today so the page tells the full story in detail. --Krusty 11:03, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Hmm, best of intentions, but I can't, for the life of me, figure out exactly why Sir Berich turned into a Wraith. I have done the quest and checked all the dialogue from the Ghosts and Sir Berich himself, but came up with nothing, except that "evil ensnared Sir Berich" and "the evil grew and grew"; stuff like that. Anybody knows something? --Krusty 22:33, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
The best I could find was that Sir Roderic's vision was from The shade of Sir Berich - he asked Roderic to put him to rest. This suggests he is cursed into his wraith-ism. Also: "The evil took hold of me the day that I slew Sir Caius on the Priory steps... The evil grew upon me until I became cruel, a tyrranical ruler, a terror upon the land. In death, evil held me even tighter than in life." --Arch-Mage Matt Did I Do That? 22:45, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Dwarfmp, I think you should simply launch this page - the in-game explanation is a bit fuzzy and it can take us weeks to figure out exactly how to describe how evil Sir Berich became - and we will probably never know exactly why he became a wraith. One thing worth noting, however, is that the wraith wields the Sword of the Crusader. Also, it appears that he suffers some kind of setback in health if the player is lvl 16-20 - is that a bug? --Krusty 21:10, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
I don't know, it may be a bug, but that's how it is stated in the CS. Also, the sword of the crusader isn't in his inventory in the CS, so I figure it must be added through scripting. Nonetheless, he has it in his inventory at some point, so I don't know if it should be added. ~ Dwarfmp 21:40, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
