Health box[edit]

Why, in Sir Roderic's Health box does it have (6+3)x(PC-1)? Isn't that just 9x(PC-1)? --Robin Hood 22:31, 3 August 2007 (EDT)

Basically, because the full equation for NPC health is much uglier than the summarized version shown on the NPC pages, see Oblivion Talk:People#Summarizing NPC Health. I meant to add info on these equations to Oblivion:NPCs#Health but I haven't gotten around to it yet (five months later...). --NepheleTalk 22:44, 3 August 2007 (EDT)
Thanks, Nephele. I looked around before I asked, but couldn't find anything. Guess I just wasn't looking in the right places. :) --Robin Hood 00:21, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

Link to The War of Bend'r-Mahk?[edit]

Can someone tell me how to add a link to The War of Bend'r-Mahk?Aldage 17:28, 4 October 2007 (EDT)

If the page existed, it would probably be something like [[Oblivion:The War of Bend'r-Mahk|The War of Bend'r-Mahk]]. Since the page doesn't exist, however, it turns out looking like this: The War of Bend'r-Mahk. For more on editing and site guidelines, see this page, or feel free to ask any of us about anything you want!
Also, I might be entirely ignorant here, but I've never heard of this "War of Bend'r-Mahk." Is it just something out of the dialogue? --Eshetalk17:59, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
(vague sounds of whistling) --Somercy 18:04, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
Heh...thanks, Somercy. I wonder why it didn't show up when I searched the site for it... --Eshetalk18:06, 4 October 2007 (EDT)

Link to Wars & Conflicts page?[edit]

I know the page doesn't exist, but how do I link it to the Wars & Conflicts page in the Appendices?Aldage 18:34, 4 October 2007 (EDT)

I'll do it. Oy. Child, you're giving me a headache. Somercy 18:35, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
Well, EXCUUUUSSSEEE me! Aldage 19:46, 4 October 2007 (EDT)

Cause of Death[edit]

In the Scripted Deaths, For Sir Roderic, it says that his cause of death "varies, see npc page". I have thoroughly searched the page and it says "(Scripted Death)" — Unsigned comment by Drake3555 (talkcontribs)

Umm... no it doesn't. It says his location varies, and the NPC page describes it pretty clearly. –RpehTCE 04:46, 22 May 2008 (EDT)
Ahhh! sorry... Didn't see it... I really have to start looking at pages harder! I might see some important things Drake3555 21:22, 22 May 2008 (EDT)

Vision[edit]

If you were to follow him to his last shrine, would he have a vision like what Lathon said? — Unsigned comment by 99.145.88.49 (talk) on 14 April 2010

No. He just goes around the loop again. rpeh •TCE 15:39, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Following Roderick[edit]

This question was recently posted on the article: "Hey can somebody please edit this page with the answer to this question-If you follow sir Roderick when he's on his horse can you get the nine wayshrines that way?"

Well the answer to the second question is "yes" - you can follow him to reach all nine wayshrines but be prepared for a long, long journey. The answer to the first question is "no" - it's not worth mentioning on his article as there are easier ways to find the wayshrines (like our (map)). rpeh •TCE 14:12, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

cant find roderick[edit]

when i was doing the wayshrine i couldnt find roderick, is this because i fast traveled or i did not install the KotN right? Secret Chief 16:09, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Don't worry if you can't find him during the pilgrimage. He serves no notable purpose in KotN until after he dies. If you do want to find him though, first off don't fast travel, and secondly remember he wanders around, like M'aiq and is thus extremely hard to find. You could try waiting at one of the wayshrines marked on the pilgrimage map and wait for him to appear, that is what I did to find him.Alpha Kenny Buddy 16:44, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
If anyone else has trouble finding him, you can try using the console to work out where he's heading to. If you use moveto player on him (player.moveto results in an infinite loading screen) you can speak to him and find out which shrine he's going to. You can then re-load a save, head down there, and wait. If he still won't show up, head down there and use moveto player on Lathon. Lathon's set to follow him, and though the command will spawn him without his horse (forcing him to go find his horse first), he'll eventually sprint his way back to Roderic. --ElEzDee (talk) 06:17, 27 November 2013 (GMT)

Spawn location[edit]

Once you´ve downloaded the DLC, where does he spawn exactly with his squire? I looked north of Bravil but I cant find him. And which way does he travel?--C0rTeZ48 (talk) 01:37, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
