Same (what a reply, 2 years later) Will this have any effect on the quests? Marguerite also attacked. DaedryonTCE 04:55, 3 December 2008 (EST)

I also got attacked by him and Marguerite Diel in the market district. Very odd. haha 209.180.51.243 04:08, 24 August 2009 (UTC) King Irwin

Conflict[edit]

If he dissapears after Light the Dragonfires how can you still engage in conversation with him (without the console of course)--Corevette789 23:29, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Like with many of the hostile NPCs, you can engage in conversation with him through the use of a strong Charm spell, or by hiding and using a combination of both bribes and charm to raise his disposition permanently. --S'drassa T2M 23:33, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
I just reread the page and it makes sense now. I was seeing he was disabled after the Light the Dragonfires quest and after the Oblivion crisis was resolved he would angrily state "I have nothing to say to you"--Corevette789 23:56, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Etymology[edit]

"Styrbjörn is a Swedish and Norwegian name which, if translated directly, means steerbear."

I've removed the etymology of the name from the article. --Legoless 13:05, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
