It says here and in other sources that he is the jailor for Bruma castle, but in my game it's just a generic Bruma Jailor. The only time I met him was as the end of the quest. Aldage 00:41, 8 October 2007 (EDT)

Same here. Even before the quest all I see is the generic 'Bruma Jailor'. --Sundar 17:49, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
Tyrellius is the person you have to deal with during "Two Sides of the Coin" but yes, there is another Bruma Jailor. In fact there are two: BrumaGuardJailorNight (000362ec) and BrumaGuardJailorDay (000362ed). --RpehTCE 01:48, 19 October 2007 (EDT)
So is Tyrellius the jailor at anytime during the game, or does he even exist in the game prior to starting the quest? Because I've checked the entire Castle Barracks and all I see are Captain Burd, his Imperial deputy(forgot his name) and other generic guards. And if Tyrellius does exist in the game before the quest, if I opt to kill Arnora myself(in which case you don't have to kill him), does he just disappear from the game like some of the Mythic Dawn NPCs(quest-specific)? --Sundar 14:57, 21 October 2007 (EDT)
The only times I have encountered Tyrellius have been during the quest - he is in the jail area when you get thrown in jail to speak to Jorundr, and you meet him by the treasure if you don't kill Arnora yourself. If you do kill Arnora, he doesn't appear by the treasure. I assume he is removed from the game if you do things that way. --Gaebrial 04:16, 15 November 2007 (EST)

strange xbox glitch with tyrellius[edit]

I exited Bruma North Gate with Martin and Jauffre on our way to Cloud Ruler Temple for Martin to get introduced to the Blades.. I was at a point with the Bruma Amulet quest where Tyrellius was standing by the chest. He started to walk to me as we walked towards CRT. Rather than engage him there, I let him walk into CRT with us.

I saved the game there and then tried a few things with him at this point:

1) This is not the glitch, but I thought I would mention it. Once he reached the middle of the group of Blades Martin was speaking to, he started walking around in small circles. I stood by the CRT chapel entrance and lobbed an arrow at him, which caused the Blades to slice and Dice him as Martin continued to speak;

reloaded the save..

2) This is the glitch(es). I let Tyrellius come up and meet me where the lookout posts are.

a) Before he reached me and started his speech I cast paralyze at him. Tyrellius never got up after the spell wore off. I just hacked him as he laid on the ground until he died. Then I was able to take his stuff.

reloaded the save.

b) Between the lookout posts I allowed him to meet me and start his speech. Then cast paralyze on him. He got up, the blades converged on him and killed him, and then when he died a strange graphics glitch occurred (this is on the xbox)- his body "melted" all over the screen and you could pick up his head and his hand and his feet seperately..75.198.214.243 03:54, 1 June 2008 (EDT)

permanent corpse[edit]

how is his corpse not disappearing a bug? 71.251.40.151 07:45, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

He is set as a quest item, despite not needing to be so. That is why it was changed in the Unofficial Patch. --DKong27 Talk Cont 21:01, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

To clear up Confusion....[edit]

This is for the people who don't alredy known these things and to help those who have problems with his bugs.

The Second Tyrellius may have been made to Prevent him from aresting you incase you have a bounty, similer to Audens Avidius, well execpt for the part where he can still arrest you despit being in prision.

His corpse is perment since it is marked as a quest item, as with many other NPC's in the game.

Since there are two versions of this guy, thats why he apears to be alive despite what the quest log indicates, as it does not disable the Guard version, same as if you were to kill the guard version first, the Other version would still be alive, thats re-encarnation for you.
