Does not offer training[edit]

Valus Odill doesn't seem to offer training in Heavy Armor! — Unsigned comment by 68.100.231.128 (talk) at 05:11 on 26 October 2006 (UTC)

He probably only offers training at certain times of day. I'd have to check, but he spends time at both his house and at the Grey Mare. He may only offer training in one of those locations. --TheRealLurlock 09:40, 26 October 2006 (EDT)
Nope, he's not set up to offer training at all. --Wrye 17:28, 9 May 2007 (EDT)
He will provide the heavy armor recommendation for master training, however, so he probably was supposed to be an advanced trainer at some point during the game's planning. I've tried to clean up the various places where he's listed as a trainer. --NepheleTalk 18:02, 9 May 2007 (EDT)
It would be easy to tick him as a Heavy Armor trainer -- but it totally would not make sense given his quest. (You'd think he would have trained his kids just a little and handed them some left over armor.) That dialog probably should have been assigned to a different npc.
Incidentally, I checked training for all other trainers listed on the trainers page, and that's the only error I found. --Wrye 18:10, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

After Quest[edit]

Here's a thought? What happens to the Odiil's once you finish their respective quest? Do they disappear, or move back to the farm or what? — Unsigned comment by 87.127.79.8 (talk) on 10 April 2009

They all live happily ever after on their farm. –RpehTCE 13:31, 10 April 2009 (EDT)

Key Bug[edit]

Should this really be mentioned on this page? It has nothing to do with the NPC himself, other than possessing the bugged item. ~ Dwarfmp 23:34, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

There isn't really anywhere else to mention it... but I see your point. I'd keep it though. rpeh •TCE 09:32, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
