Oblivion talk:Xbox 360 Cheats

I actually think this page is pretty much useless. Both the Xbox 360 and PC currently run the same game, so there are going to be no exclusive bugs unless that changes, such as a patch being released for one and not the other.

Good lord[edit]

Use English.

Redundant Page[edit]

This page needs to be merged with Oblivion:Glitches. --Aristeo 13:58, 2 July 2006 (EDT)

I agree. I don't know that there are any xbox-specific cheats (if anything, they might be cheats that you wouldn't use on the PC just because there are easier ways to do it on the PC). Most of what's on this page appears to overlap material on Glitches.--Nephele 18:57, 2 July 2006 (EDT)
I think this should just be moved to glitches because there are really no cheats, just bad and good glitches. Tenaciousd Tribute 17:25, 20 August 2006 (EDT)

Deleted Section[edit]

I deleted the following chunk, because this isn't a cheat, it's the way that the game always works. See discussion at Oblivion:Commerce#Merchants' gold. --Nephele 14:34, 31 July 2006 (EDT)

Ok so after I was done duplicating my items using the cloning cheat I went to the Imperial City Market District to go and sell my poison apples that I cloned at the Three Brothers Trade Goods Store and I went up to Sergius Verus to sell them. When i got there and started to sell them i noticed that his money never declined and mine always went up.

NOTE: I used voice of the emporer and posion apples I am going to test other things and without using voice of the emporer.

Another Infinite Money Glitch[edit]

In order to do this you must be a vampire.

At the very end of the vampire cure quest, ask for the reward. the count will give you 500gp. If you keep talking to him and ask for the reward, he keeps giving you 500gp over and over.

I didnt do this but one of my friends showed me on the 360. dont know about computer version.

This glitch has already been documented (e.g., at Oblivion:Vampire Cure#Bugs), Is not XBox specific, and has been fixed with the 1.1.511 patch. --Nephele 14:35, 15 August 2006 (EDT)

Turned into Redirect[edit]

I have turned this page into a redirect that points to Oblivion:Glitches. Allow me to explain why I have done so below:

  • This page seems to be a magnet to poor quality. Contributions in the first person, poor grammar and spelling, and indifference to the style guide are some of the main issues that have not been taken care of with this page. I know that Oblivion:Glitches has these same problems on a higher degree, but we still do not want the problems on that page infecting more of the site.
  • Everything on this page has probably already been included on the Oblivion:Glitches page. If this is not the case, feel free to merge it there.
  • A couple of people have suggested that this page is redundant.
