Aconia Getha

Aconia Getha is an Imperial member of the Thieves Guild who appears in the Thieves Den in Abah's Landing. She is a former bounty hunter who was recruited into the guild.

She isn't present until "Forever Hold Your Peace" is complete.

Dialogue

Aconia has three greetings:

"Zeira's a miracle worker, bringing the guild back from the brink of death. I suppose I can stick around for one more big score. And maybe for one more after that. It's not like I have anywhere else I need to be."

"I almost left all this behind me. I was half-way up the boarding ramp to a ship bound for Highrock when I decided I wasn't done with Abah's Landing quite yet.
I want to make the Iron Wheel pay for what they did to us—I want them to pay dearly."

"Erengor's one of mine. I brought him into the guild, trained him. I'm glad to see he's made a place for himself while I was gone.
Unfortunately, I don't think he's happy to see me back here. I suppose I'll have to deal with that too, in short order."

What did you do before you joined the Thieves Guild?

"I was a bounty hunter back in Shornhelm before I embraced this life.
I suppose tales of my past have been spread around the guild like jam on a biscuit. Thieves and cutpurses are worse than old wives when it comes to gossip,"

That's a rather severe career change.

"You'd be surprised. When it comes to law and order, the line between bounty hunter and outlaw is thin as a wisp of hair and just as fragile.
After years of serving the public good with nothing to show for it, I learned that crime actually does pay."

How did a former bounty hunter earn the trust of the guild?

"I originally came to Abah's Landing to collect a bounty on Walks-Softly. But he offered me an alternative that actually made sense. I brought my talents to the guild and they welcomed me.
Just like you, I earn their trust every day."
