Kill the Shadowed Path Magister
Grigerda believes a Shadowed Path Magister is leading Bruma's intruders.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Speak to Grigerda.
  2. Kill the Shadowed Path Magister.
  3. Return to Grigerda.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Talk to Grigerda to find out what she wants you to do.

"Curse this leg. I hate sitting here while Bruma burns!"
Who's behind all this destruction?
"A Shadowed Path magister. He lives in what's left of my home, across from this manor. The Dremora and Shadowed Path cultists in Bruma all answer to him. Kill him for us!"
I'll do it.

The magister resides within a burned house across from the manor. Kill the magister and return to Grigerda for your reward.

"I hope that's the magister's blood I see on your clothes."
The cultists need a new leader.
"They'll find one, I have no doubt. But it's good to strike back at them as hard as we can. Thank you!"

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
