Invoke the spirit of agility to gain Major Expedition for 6 seconds, increasing your Movement Speed by 30%. Gain immunity to snares and immobilizations for 4 seconds.

Deceptive Predator: Cost: [2970 / 2880 / 2790 / 2700] Magicka.
Invoke the spirit of agility to gain Major Expedition for 6 seconds, increasing your Movement Speed by 30%. Gain immunity to snares and immobilizations for 4 seconds. While slotted gain you gain Minor Evasion, reducing damage from area attacks by 10%.

Invoke the spirit of agility to gain Major Expedition for 6 seconds, increasing your Movement Speed by 30%. Gain immunity to snares and immobilizations for 4 seconds. While slotted you gain Minor Berserk, increasing your damage done by 5%.

Falcon's Swiftness increases your Movement Speed allowing you to run faster. Deceptive Predator adds Minor Evasion, increasing your chances of dodging attacks while active, while Bird of Prey gives you Minor Berserk, increasing your damage dealt instead.

Notes

• Bird of Prey is a recommended morph for the Warden Initiate and Savage Stalker builds, while Deceptive Predator is recommended for Guardian of the Wild.

3.2.5

• Deceptive Predator: This morph now increases the duration to 14 seconds, in addition to granting Minor Evasion.
  • Developer Comments: This change helps compensate this morph with additional efficiency. Deceptive Predator's Minor Evasion only gives 5% dodge chance, while Bird of Prey's Minor Berserk gives 8% damage.

• Fixed an issue where part of the visual effects from this ability and its morphs was still visible to enemies even when you were hidden.
• Bird of Prey: The Minor Berserk buff is now granted at all times while this morph is slotted.
• Deceptive Predator: The Minor Evasion buff is now granted at all times while this morph is slotted. This morph no longer grants an increased duration to the active Major Expedition and Major Endurance buffs.
  • Developer Comment: The goal of this change is to help reduce buff management for Wardens. You can now activate this ability reactively in situations where movement speed is needed, instead of having to keep the effect up 100% of the time.
  • This ability now grants Major Expedition for a maximum of 4 seconds instead of 10 seconds.
    • Developer Comment: Again, as noted previously, we want there to be variability in the positive and negative directions during combat. In Update 19, we adjusted snares down to a 4 second duration so an optimal damage rotation wouldn't include 100% up time on snares. In this update, we are adjusting Major Expedition buffs to be in line with the snare durations.

• Reduced the cost of this ability and its morphs to 2700 from 3511 at base.
• This ability no longer grants Major Endurance.
• Major Expedition now lasts 6 seconds, up from 4 seconds. Note this ability is now considered a "rule breaker", since it breaks the paradigm of Major Expedition lasting 4 seconds.
