The Mnemic Egg[edit]

Meet the gerent outside of Loriasel.

"Vicecanon Heita-Meen asked us to watch the southerly approach. The Dominion seemed determined to get to Loriasel, no matter the cost. The vicecanon took it upon herself to find out why."
What happened?
"Vicecanon Heita-Meen's contingent left to investigate the Dominion presence in Loriasel. A short time ago, lamia boiled out of the ruins."

The Dominion's Alchemist[edit]

Speak with her to begin the quest.

"How can I assist the hero of Ten-Maur-Wolk?"
I know what the Dominion plans with the Mnemic Egg.
"Then you must inform Vicecanon Heita-Meen immediately. She left for the ruins above, to scout the aftermath of a battle between the Dominion and the lamias. Go quickly and quietly."
I'll find Vicecanon Heita-Meen.

Speaking to her again:

"We'll keep the Dominion trapped in the ruins while you seek Vicecanon Heita-Meen. And watch out for the lamias! They're territorial and vicious."

After Vicecanon Heita-Meen approaches the Mnemic Egg:

Gerent Nuleem-Malem: "Vicecanon? Is everything all right?"
Gerent Nuleem-Malem: "The Mnemic Egg holds her in some form of trance. We must wake her!"

Speaking to the gerent:

"What happened to the vicecanon?"
She said the Mnemic Egg was in great pain.
"No doubt Ruuvitar's doing. May his corpse dry to a husk!
We must wake the vicecanon before the Mnemic Egg tears her mind apart!"

After The Dream of the Hist, you can find Gerent Nuleem-Malem sitting in a chair aboard The Ordinator's Revenge.

"You're awake! When the Mnemic Egg took you and the vicecanon, I sent for troops to carry you away from Loriasel. The vicecanon can explain why you're on this ship.
I prayed for Sithis to keep you from the void. Did you hear me, in your sleep? No matter."
