Lanwaen

Lanwaen is a Wood Elf found in the settlement of Deepwoods. She is the sister of Gwaering, the Green Lady who succeeded Finoriell. She is married to Haron and has a cousin, Oraneth.

Quest-Related Events

During the quest, Haron asks you to help him find Lanwaen. Once you rescue her, Haron and her will reunite:

Haron: "Lanwaen, my love. Thank the gods you're alive."

Lanwaen: "I'm well enough to walk. Let's get out of here."

If you speak to her before talking to Haron, she'll say:

"Thank you for helping Haron find me."

If you speak to her after talking to Haron, but before making it back to Deepwoods, she'll say:

"Just get us home."

You'll need to speak with her back at Deepwoods once you arrive.

"Home at last. I can't thank you enough for saving us!"

We got here together.

"Haron and I need to rest now. Please, tell Treethane Nilara we're home safely.
Stop by to see us before you leave town. And … thank you. Y'ffre bless you!"

She and Haron then enter their house, where you can speak to Lanwaen again.

"Thank you for helping Haron find me."

How are you feeling?

"Famished! Haven't had anything to eat since they tied me up.
The Houndsmen will pay for this. Once I've gotten my strength back, that is."

Any idea why they kidnapped you in the first place?

"I don't think they know Gwaering, the Green Lady, is my sister. They were looking for easy prey.
Hah, I put up quite a fight! Nothing was easy for them."

The Green Lady seems very important to Deepwoods.

"The mantle of the Green Lady passes from generation to generation, but not usually from one family member to another.
Our aunt was the previous Green Lady, so it's quite exciting Gwaering's been chosen this time."
