Mollier Guillon

Mollier Guillon is a Breton soldier found banging on the front door of Ravenwatch Castle. He only appears if you have not yet begun the quest Shornhelm Divided and is an alternate method of beginning that quest. He also appears in the Doomcrag Staging Grounds as an alternate quest giver for the quest Northpoint in Peril.

Shornhelm Divided[edit]

Mollier Guillon: "Count Verandis! We know you're in there! Open the door, please!"

Talk to him to begin the quest.

"Thrice-blasted nobles! Their coffers keep the kingdom running, but at the first sign of trouble …."
What are you doing?
"Baron Montclair decided to take control of Shornhelm. His troops hold the upper city and prepare to march on the rest. Countess Tamrith sent us to bring Count Ravenwatch to court.
She wants his counsel, but I'm not sure he's here."
Baron Montclair started a civil war?
"That's as good a term as any. Civil war. It's like mad King Ranser all over again.
Look. Montclair's dangerous and the Countess needs all the help she can get. If you could join her in the chapel at Shornhelm, that would be a start."
I'll offer the Countess whatever help I can provide.

Speaking to him again:

"Good luck. The Montclair family is one of the oldest in Rivenspire. If they think they can win this conflict, it's a good bet they have something up their sleeves."

Northpoint in Peril[edit]

You can alternatively start the quest by travelling to near the Staging Grounds Wayshrine where he will be there at the camp. He will not by amused by the presence of vampires in the conflict as stated by his statement:

"Thrice-damned vampires! We tried to wage a proper war. And what happens? They attack when you got them on the run. It isn't right!"

Speaking to him to start the quest:

"Baron Dorell sends us out here to get the drop on Montclair, and what happens? The fiend turns half of Northpoint into gibbering monsters and we're stuck waiting for orders!"
Is there anything I can do?
"Short of tearing a bloody swath through Montclair's forces, striking the head off that villainous cur, and putting an end to his wretched army of the screaming dead once and for all?
I don't know. Get word to Baron Dorell. That would be a start."
What should I tell him.
"That half his army is freezing its legs off while Montclair tears his city a new portcullis!
Better yet, just help him get Northpoint back. I saw what you did in Shornhelm. We could really use a little of that approach right now."
I'll see what I can do.

Speaking to him again:

"Tell the Baron we're waiting on him. If he needs us, we'll come running."
