Mark Target
Mark Target: Duration: [17 / 18 / 19 / 20] seconds.
Expose an enemy's weaknesses to afflict them with Major Breach, reducing their Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 5948 for [17 / 18 / 19 / 20] seconds. When a marked enemy dies, you heal to full Health. You can only have one Mark Target active at a time.
Piercing Mark: Duration: [57 / 58 / 59 / 60] seconds.
Expose an enemy's weaknesses to afflict them with Major Breach, reducing their Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 5948 for [57 / 58 / 59 / 60] seconds. You can detect marked enemies even if they use stealth or invisibility for 3 seconds. When a marked enemy dies, you heal to full Health. You can only have one Piercing Mark active at a time.
Reaper's Mark: Expose an enemy's weaknesses to afflict them with Major Breach, reducing their Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 5948 for 20 seconds. When a marked enemy dies, you heal to full Health and gain Major Berserk, increasing your damage done by 10% for [7 / 8 / 9 / 10] seconds. You can only have one Reaper's Mark active at a time.

Mark Target reduces an enemy's armor and spell resistance. If an enemy dies while under the effects of this ability, a percentage of your Health is restored. Mark Target does not count as an attack, and casting it on an enemy will not cause them to notice you. The Piercing Mark morph increases the duration and allows you to see the marked enemy even if they use stealth or invisibility. Or you can use Reaper's Mark, which gives you more healing and increases your damage when the target dies.

Notes[edit]

Patch Notes[edit]

  • Reaper's Mark: This ability's weapon and spell damage buff no longer stacks with itself – the duration of the damage buff will now just refresh upon each kill.
  • This ability has a new first-person graphical effect.
  • This ability now grants the Major Breach and Major Fracture buffs.
  • Removed the penalty from this ability.
  • This ability can now be cast on any target.
  • Reduced the cost of this ability by approximately 50%, and reduced the duration to 20 seconds.
  • Piercing Mark: The duration of this ability now scales with ability ranks up to a maximum of 30 seconds. This ability now correctly reveals Vampire players who are using Clouding Swarm.
  • Reaper's Mark: This ability now grants the Major Berserk buff for 8 seconds after the target is killed.
  • Piercing Mark: Decreased the duration of the detection effect to 5 seconds from 30 seconds. The duration of the Major Fracture and Breach effects remain unchanged.
  • Updated the Death Recap hint for this ability to more accurately describe its functionality.
  • Removed the cost from this ability and its morphs. This was done to make it more comparable to abilities, such as Weakness to Elements, that only apply a debuff to their target.
  • This ability and the Reaper's Mark ability are now considered 1 negative effect, instead of 3. Piercing Mark will count as 2, due to the Reveal aspect. The conditional “if the target dies” bonuses from this ability and its morphs will no longer proc when using on pets.
