Werewolf Ritual Site

The Werewolf Ritual Site is a sacred place to Hircine just north of Pa'alat, and southwest of Dawnmead Dolmen. It is located across a dry pond which separates it from the town. For convenience, a player may teleport to the Fort Spinxmoth Wayshrine, and head west to the shrine.

The ritual site is used for players that wish to become a werewolf. It is unoccupied unless the related quest is obtained by becoming infected by a werewolf NPC, which will then cause Songamdir to be present here along with three Pack Wolves after speaking with Thoreki. Players can also infect other players with lycanthropy here every 7 days, provided they have the Bloodmoon passive. During the quest, a portal to the Hunting Grounds will open next to altar, allowing the player to visit Hircine's realm, but will seal after completion of the quest.

The Daggerfall Covenant equivalent is located in Bangkorai, while the Ebonheart Pact version is located in the Rift. Players can choose any of the three Werewolf ritual sites to become a werewolf regardless of faction.

Similar to the effect provided by the Hunter's Glade home, players can maintain their werewolf form in this area indefinitely.
