Notes[edit]
- In some cases, when using Silver Leash, the target will be unable to move. This can happen in various situations:
- The target is knocked down or immobilized by another attack.
- The target has recently been moved by another player also using Fiery Grip.
- The target is charging up a Heavy Attack.
- Most boss level enemies cannot be pulled.
- Some targets are always immobile, e.g. Stranglers.
- Using Silver Leash around other players can cause confusion or even annoyance. As a matter of etiquette, it's probably best to avoid using it on a target who is already engaged with another player, unless they appear to be in need of a rescue.
- The skill was known as 'Crossbow Pistol' at an early point in development, with the description "Fire a Single [sic] crosbow [sic] pistol shot that stuns undead and daedra. Target evaporates into ash if killing blow [sic]."[1]

Patch Notes[edit]
- Silver Bolts rank 2 can now be re-added to your skill bar if it gets removed.
- Silver Leash:
- Significantly decreased the resource cost needed to pull an enemy target after hitting it with Silver Leash.
- Fixed an issue with Silver Leash where the pull effect was not working against vampire player characters.
- Silver Leash: This ability will now display the appropriate stun animation when used against Undead and Daedra.
- With one exception as noted below, we fixed an issue so this ability no longer has a 100% proc chance after Skilled Tracker is purchased.
- Known Issue: This ability works properly against all vampires and werewolves in human form. However, if you are specifically in werewolf form, this ability will still proc at 100%. This is not intended, and will be fixed next week.
- Fixed an issue where this ability would proc 100% of the time against werewolves specifically in werewolf form.
- Silver Leash: Updated the tooltip for this ability so it now states that the pull function only works on Undead and Daedra.
- Damage from Silver Bolts, Expert Hunter, and Trap Beast is now based on stamina and weapon damage instead of magicka and spell power.
- This ability no longer stuns undead or Daedra who dodge the attack. We also fixed an issue where this ability couldn't be reflected.
- Silver Shards: This ability now lists synergy damage in the tooltip.
- Decreased the base damage done by Silver Bolts by 80%, but increased the proc chance to 30% from 5%.
- Silver Leash: Activating the secondary effect that pulls the target to you no longer has a cost, and now deals 15% more damage. This ability also now scales off Stamina instead of Magicka.
- Fixed an issue where arrows would be missing after repeatedly using this ability.
- Silver Leash:
- Increased the pull damage for this ability by 33%.
- This ability now has the same height restrictions as the Dragonknight ability Fiery Grip. Your target must be within 8.5 meters above or below you for the pull to function.
- Fixed an issue where Silver Leash could kill the target with fall damage.
- This ability now properly displays an error message if the target is too high or low relative to the caster.
- This ability and its morphs no longer knock down or deal bonus damage to Undead and Daedra; instead, they now reduce the Movement Speed of any enemy hit by 40% for 6 seconds.
- Silver Leash: In addition to the changes made to the base ability, this morph also now pulls the caster to the target when it is activated a second time. Additionally, the caster can pull themselves to any target instead of just Undead and Daedra targets.
- Silver Shards: In addition to the changes made to the base ability, we increased the amount of additional targets this morph can hit to 5 additional targets from 2.
- Fixed an issue where Rank III of this ability was causing targets to display a knockdown animation and visually slide across the ground.
- Shadow Cloak: Fixed an issue where the invisibility from this ability and its morphs was being broken by numerous abilities including Reflective Light, Silver Shards, and Burning Talons damage over time effect.
- Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs were hiding your weapon visuals for slightly longer than the abilities' animations.
- Fixed an issue where the snare from by this ability and the Silver Shards morph would not apply to a target that blocked the damage.
- Silver Leash: This ability will now fire a bolt that, upon hitting and damaging an enemy, will instantly pull them toward you and apply a snare on them.
- Silver Leash can no longer be used in starter areas of Battlegrounds or respawn locations in Imperial City.
- Decreased the duration of the snare to 4 seconds from 6 seconds.
- Silver Leash: Fixed an issue where this ability was not counting as a Fighter's Guild ability for the Slayer passive.

- Increased the damage dealt by approximately 12.5%.
- Reduced cost to 2700 from 3510.
- This ability no longer snares enemies hit. Spin them crossbows!
- Silver Shards:
- This ability now hits all nearby enemies to your original target, instead of having a cap.
- The AoE damage dealt is now 25% weaker than the initial hit, instead of 50%.
- The AoE damage now ranks up in 1% strength per rank.
- Silver Bolts:
- Decreased the damage of this ability by approximately 25%.
- Increased cost to 3780 from 3510.

- These changes will allow the ability perform much closer to other gap closer/creator abilities.
