Nova in use
Nova: Call down a fragment of the sun, dealing [1499 / 1515 / 1530 / 1549] Magic Damage every 1 second for 8 seconds to enemies in the area and afflicting them with Major Maim, reducing their damage done by 10%. An ally near the fragment can activate the Supernova synergy, dealing 3480 Magic Damage to all enemies in the area and stunning them for 3 seconds.
Solar Prison: Call down a fragment of the sun, dealing [1549 / 1568 / 1585 / 1600] Magic Damage every 1 second for 8 seconds to enemies in the area and afflicting them with Major Maim, reducing their damage done by 10%. An ally near the fragment can activate the ON-icon-synergy-Supernova.png Gravity Crush synergy, dealing 6957 Magic Damage to all enemies in the area and stunning them for 5 seconds.
Solar Disturbance: Cost: 225 Ultimate.
Call down a fragment of the sun, dealing 1549 Magic Damage every 1 second for 8 seconds to enemies in the area and applying Major Maim to them for [7 / 8 / 9 / 10] seconds, reducing their damage done by 10%. An ally near the fragment can activate the Supernova synergy, dealing 3480 Magic Damage to all enemies in the area and stunning them for 3 seconds.

Nova deals magic damage over the target area and reduces enemies' attack damage. Allies can activate the ON-icon-synergy-Supernova.png Supernova synergy to deal additional damage and stun enemies within range. Solar Prison changes the Synergy to ON-icon-synergy-Supernova.png Gravity Crush, which increases the damage and stun duration. Or Solar Disturbance will reduce the movement speed of all enemies in the affected area.

Patch Notes[edit]

  • This ability can now deal critical strikes, and the damage-per-tick has been increased by 20%.
  • Solar Disturbance: This ability now scales in damage from ranks I-IV, and now snares your targets by 60% at all ranks.
  • Fixed several issues where some area of effect abilities weren't prioritizing targets that were far away from the caster, instead of targets closest to the caster.
    • The bonus damage done will apply to the 6 targets closest to the center of the sun for placed area of effect abilities, such as Nova.
  • Decreased cost of this ability and its Morphs to 250 Ultimate from 300 Ultimate.
  • Supernova: Decreased the synergy activation range to 2.5 meters.
  • Solar Prison: Increased the damage dealt by this ability by about 17%.
  • Solar Disturbance: Increased the snare component of this ability to 65% from 60%.
  • Reduced the effects and visual light intensity for this ability and its morphs.
  • Increased the damage from the Supernova and Gravity Crush synergies by 16%.
  • Increased the activation range for the Supernova and Gravity Crush synergies to 3.5 meters from 2.5 meters.
  • This ability now applies Major Maim instead of reducing the target's damage by 30%.
  • Decreased the time it takes for the nova to land for this ability and its morphs to 0.5 seconds from 0.75 seconds.
    • Developer Comments: The power level of this ability didn't justify it having such a long delay. We've shortened the time it takes for it to land to make it easier to hit moving targets.
  • Solar Disturbance: This morph now increases the duration of the Major Maim debuff it applies to 4 seconds.
  • This ability and its morphs now have a negative telegraph so you can properly tell if the heavens are being called down to protect you or smite you.
  • Fixed an issue where this ability's damage did not properly generate hit reactions against enemies.
