A Spiderling at a dolmen

Spiderlings can usually only be found in the company of a spider daedra. The two variants have a synergy in order to take down enemies. Spiderlings get in close and occupy the enemy with minor melee attacks, leaving the spider daedra time to prepare and cast its deadly spells. The spiderling even has the job of directing one of the spider daedra's attacks.

They also appear in Dragonstar Arena during Round 7: The Circle of Rituals.

Skills and Abilities

Strike

The spiderling has a basic melee strike attack that does minor physical damage.

Spit Webbing

The spiderling will spit an immobilizing web beneath the player's feet to snare them. While this does no damage, the spider daedra will usually follow up with the Lightning Storm spell.

• Tainted Spiderlings, found in the Imperial Sewers

Notes

• Large Spiders in the Spiral Shadows round of the Maelstrom Arena also use the name of "Spiderlings", but are not Spider Daedra. A spider summoned during Web of Lies is also called a Spiderling.
