Tholbor

Tholbor is a High Elf summoner, and champion of the Thizzrini Arena's Summoner Division. To enter the Arena's ranks you must get his approval, which he gives after you beat one of the combatants under his command. To become champion of the Arena you must beat him and take his title as champion summoner.

Dialogue

Talking to him prior to starting the quest, he says:

"I don't think you want to talk to me. I think you want a brew at one of the drinking halls. Move on!"

Quest-Related Events

"The privy is back beyond the gate. Or did you need something else?"

I need to earn credentials to fight in the Summoner Division.

"Do you, now? That's adorable. Do you really think you have what it takes? And even if you get your credentials, are you prepared to fight to the death?
I'll give you a shot. Just take care you don't soil yourself."

What do I need to do?

"I wish I had a troll for you. Sadly, I need to save them for the real challengers.
Pick one of my other combatants and ask them to spar. Maybe you can find a scrawny one. Defeat them in a fair fight, and you'll get your credentials."

I'm ready to fight.

After sparring with the combatant, return to him and he'll say:

"Y'ffre's knees! I didn't expect to find you in one piece."

I defeated one of your combatants.

"So it would seem! I must admit, I underestimated you.
You have your Summoner Division credentials."

Thank you.

"You keep performing like that, we might just see you in the finals.
I'll be keeping an eye on you. Don't disappoint me."

"Come back later. This division isn't competing at the moment."
