Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
When you enter Klathzgar, go straight ahead into the central chamber to find Pelorrah's research notes to begin the quest. The notes read as follows:
- "Before I venture further, I must record my findings lest I fail to return. I've spent a century studying the legend known as 'Urenenya's Lament.' The tale says Ayleid Princess Urenenya vanished in life, and her soul has never been laid to rest."
- "Many scholars have attempted to find Urenenya's last resting place, but I am the first to uncover evidence she was acquainted with the Dwemeri architect Klathzgar. I have come to Klathzgar's long-abandoned workshop in search of clues to her fate."
- "If I succeed in my endeavor, I will find and return Urenenya's remains to the Silaseli ruins. If Klathzgar's ancient machines claim my life, it is my hope another will come behind me and take up this sacred quest."
- "Pelorrah, Scholar of Cloudrest"
- I should find out what became of Pelorrah.
Head to the northern chamber to find more research notes. Pelorrah's corpse is nearby. Pelorrah's final notes are on a table near his body. Read them.
- "What a discovery! The ancient mystery is solved! It seems the Ayleid Princess Urenenya and the Dwemeri engineer Klathzgar were bound by a forbidden love. This explains her repeated refusals to wed. It also explains her disappearance."
- "A letter from Princess Urenenya to Klathzgar also hints at the sad fate that befell her. It seems that when she fell ill, Klathzgar resolved to put her spirit inside one of his creations so they could continue to be together."
- "To my horror, I believe he somehow placed her soul into a crystal powering one of his centurions, where likely it remains to this day. The machines are intimidating, but I must try to recover Urenenya's soul gem and return it to the Silaseli Ruins."
- I should recover Urenenya's soul gem and take it to Silaseli.
Head east then south through the hallway. At the fork in the path, head east. A hostile construct named Urenenya's Soul lies in this chamber. Destroy it and recover Urenenya's Soul Gem from the wreckage. After you recover the soul gem, exit the ruin and head north, to Silaseli Ruins. The ruin lies northeast of Evermore, past Northglen, along the shores of Halcyon Lake. Place Urenenya's Soul Gem soul gem on the ancient Ayleid altar and smash it. Princess Urenenya's Spirit will appear. Speak with her to complete the quest.
Quest Stages[edit]

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
