The grandmaster of House Dres wants revenge against the Vanguard troops outside Kragenmoor. He's commanded me to slay their leader.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Go to the Vanguard camp and kill Captain Dunveril
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
With his son safe and the Vanguard high-tailing it out of Kragenmoor, the Grandmaster would like you to formally thank the Vanguard for kidnapping his son. You are to travel to the Vanguard camp east of the city and slay Captain Dunveril, the leader of the Vanguard.
The good captain is located on a dilapidated Daedric pavilion with a cooking fire and some tents. She has approximately 67,000 health and is accompanied by two Vanguard Assassins. She isn't too difficult to take down, but if you're struggling, take out the assassins first, then take down Captain Dunveril.
When your target is dead, return to Grandmaster Omin Dres for your reward.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
